How are Liverpool going to keep all their midfielders happy as time goes on? I have never seen a football team with such an array of talent. Surely most are going to demand a first team place. It is surely going to be difficult for whoever the new manager is to keep everyone happy without ruffling a few feathers?

"We have no midfield! "

"Gonna struggle to get top 6"

"No Bellingham? No hope"

Realistically for a team challenging for all trophies, you need around 6/ 7 senior players, accompanied by 2/ 3 exciting youth prospects. We are currently overstocked in both departments probably, so unfortunately a few would have to move on with time.

We’ve been over stocked with midfielders and forwards for quite some time now (apparently) yet none have shown discontent and they all seem to play lots of football.

We’ve just played 5/ games in 15 days, we are going to play over 60 games in @40 weeks plus internationals at all age levels for most of the squad. We ended up bring a 16 year old on in our recent run of games. I honestly don’t think we are overstocked at all for the amount of games for a squad playing at the elite level.

@WDW, I think context is important. All in all, we currently have Endo, Mac, Jones, Szobo, Elliott, Grav, and Baj. That's 7 players for three positions. That's excluding players that we have on loan (Morton and Carvalho) as well as the young players that have come in in recent weeks to provide emergency cover (Clark and McConnell) . I have excluded Thiago for obvious reasons.

So all in all, we are well-stocked in midfield.

I think Klopp does a sterling job in rotating players, keeping them happy and involved. All the players seem to buy into the “team” ethos. If there has been any moaning whatsoever then the club also do a great job keeping it in house.

Zeddicus yep, that kind of sums it up. Oh, you forgot this one, "We don't have a 6" despite Endo being on the team.

As for how to keep them happy, that's the coach's job and most importantly, we don't need to keep anyone happy, IMO. We need to keep them all involved and focused on the collective goal at hand, something Klopp is the best at as a manager in the PL, without a doubt.
