Martin Tyler is leaving sky sports! Please get Peter drury in to replace him. Tyler used to be good but recently he has just sounded like he lost interest in the sport and it wasn’t just us, some of the clips of other teams was equally as bad.

WYRed, I hope you are right. Tyler doing an LFC game with his chuckle bro. G. Neville is like pulling teeth. If LFC scores, it feels like Tyler just had a tummy ach with how he reacts to it.

Tyler and Stelling will not be missed in the slightest just wish Steve Macca could join them the horrible worm. In fact the only pundits I have missed would be Hansen mark Lawrenson was hilarious and Chris Kamara. Might miss Souness sticking it to Keane and Richards though.

I remember he was stuck in traffic and late to the studio once and Jamie Redknapp tried to slag him.

" Not the first time you've been late Graeme"

Souness got really thick and replied,

"You could have done with being late once or twice in your career buddy, too bloody nice, your problem"

No 1230 Sat kick offs and no Tyler commentating on our games so as long as we keep the wind out and the grass not too wet or too dry then we should do the quadruple next season without losing a game.

Can’t wait for 24/ 25 season now.

I've been happy in the States with Arlo White followed by Peter Drury. Always liked Derek Rae and Tommy Smith when ESPN did Champs League.

Str8talker I agree so much on Steve mcmanaman he is such a tool. Try’s to talk so posh but he forgets where he’s from.

Why the dislike of all these commentators? Tyler was pretty good at the job, but like so many of them: never really analysed where the momentum of a match was going. The shame is that the pundits good with analysis don’t get to commentate, but just provide post-match analysis. Commentary would be so much better if likes of Mad Roy and Mad Graeme provided the commentary - spotting tactical shifts etc. Cricket commentary is way better because of this (though, obviously a much slower game) . I’d far rather Lineker was a commentator AND a pundit.

Macca is like Owen on commentary. Severely painful to the ears.

@420, Arlo White and Peter Drury are awesome. Lived in the States and those where the PL commentators on NBCSN at the time. Glad you still have them and can enjoy them as good as I did.

I always liked Steve McMahon when he was on, despite his condescending attitude towards whoever he was talking to/ with. Made some sense at times. I know many on here don't like him.
