ed0666 with us selling Shaq and a few others Gini of the wage bill it seem like with have freed up wages but I feel most of that will have gone on contract renewals.

{Ed0666's Note - I really donâ€™t I understand why weâ€™re not making a concerted effort for Bissouma. This guy will be a mainstay of our team for years. Pay a little extra and tie him down. Heâ€™s 24 and could be a stalwart for at least 5 years. Also heâ€™s only gonna get more expensive.

I donâ€™t get that either, Ed regarding Bissouma. Saul may be the better footballer BUT YB is the guy we actually need in our system, IMO.

{Ed0666's Note - I agree mate we should go all out and literally break the bank if we have to. The guy is a must for Liverpool. I donâ€™t care about Saul joining United or Chelsea but Bissouma joining either would be a body blow. Heâ€™s a terrific number 8 and a very handy number 6.

Itâ€™s almost as if Bissouma doesnâ€™t like Blackpool.
If Chelsea get Saul it makes their midfield better than ours and by quite a distance.
Saul, Kante, Mount, pretty decent.

Think Ed66 mate they might want payments up-front coz I don't see any other reason especially when we've got an aging midfield which Milner might leave next season with OX (maybe) so it's no brainer.

Even Saul is up for loan thought he's wages might not be a problem for at least a season? Especially with the talent he has but seems maybe we've no idea what's going behind closed doors or maybe Klopp has got different Target and will have better chance to obtain them next season? Who knows I'm just excited for the season and we aren't looking that bad tho.

Itâ€™s either Bissouma or Saul. I agree with you Ed that if we buy him weâ€™d be sorted for a long time. He can tackle, read the game well, his passing is excellent and he puts himself about a bit, definitely not a shirker, he can play as a midfield anchor or box to box. If anything because of his age and experience in the PL heâ€™d prob be more worth getting than Saul.

{Ed0666's Note - I have to be honest I havenâ€™t seen much of Saul but have seen more than enough of Bissouma to know heâ€™ll be at a top 4 club in England real soon if not a very very elite club on the continent. The problem is value, If Keita is worth Â£52 million how much is Bissouma worth? And would he be cheaper in a pandemic.

Hes definitely worth Â£52m and I don't think he'd be cheaper in a C.V. as Brighton owner is fairly flush.

I would guess that with Klopp though, if Bissouma is showing even just the slightest ambivalence about coming to Liverpool, Klopp would not entertain signing him.

It goes to show how hard hitting this C.V. has it us in the pocket if a club as globally as big as Liverpool can scrape together the money needed so sign bassouma. He is perfect to fit into our midfield.
