Ed's do we have sustained interest in Enzo Fernandez and is he a possibility?

{Ed002's Note - Enzo Fernandez (CM) Joined Benfica in the summer of 2022 and Benfica will not want to sell but there is a €120M release clause that they will look to increase as they have already fielded an enquiry from Real Madrid who see him as an alternative to Bellingham.}

All the reports online are saying something along the lines that “he’s seen by the club as an alternative to Jude Bellingham”. Which also sounds awfully like the boys at FSG getting their excuses in early. I can’t see us getting either quite honestly. Bellingham will likely end up at City, Madrid or Chelsea and Fernández at City or Madrid, depending on who gets Bellingham, just because of the money. We’ll end up signing dross like Amrabat and probably turning Arthur’s loan permanent, which would be sickening and depressing all at the same time.
