Pep lijnders being looked at by wolves apparently.

He can give them his book to read and they'll be convinced. Just like what Brendan did with FSG ?.

Great let him go there, he done well but he been here long enough now fergie kept utd hungry changing coaches every couple of years freshen it up. Just my opinion.

Personally I don’t agree with assistants banging out books! I think they should be seen not heard! Since he let out his book we’ve been poor maybe not connected maybe they are! I’d let him go cut his cloth see how he gets on!
A few on her want him as a coach with klopp leaves I’d not let him near!

What was he trying to achieve with the book? Books should only be written when you retire. Whether it has had an effect we don’t know, but it certainly hasn’t helped. Get the brain back ?.

Agreed totally. And also a case of the poorest possible timing. Push it out end of the season or beginning of the summer. It's been nothing but an unnecessary distraction. And how long of a career has he had anyway to be publishing a book about it? What's the plan? To have 5 books or something by the end of the career? Sigh.

Up to Klopp whether Ljinders goes or not, I think. Given the past talk about Ljinders succeeding Klopp, maybe it's not such a bad idea for him to go out and show what he's made up of at Wolves? He can always come back. For Klopp (and I've been watching it for years) every player he has "is amazing" and every staff member there "is a genius", so I prefer to see the proof in the pudding.

It’s a book (and Jay he’d only be ‘heard’ if he came round to your house and read it to you) - what’s the fuss? It’s not a law that you have to read it. There really is nothing to see here except slagging a bloke off for lack of anything better to complain about.

I'll bet that book would have been touted as brilliant if we'd started the season better.
Now it's the cause of all our ills.
I'm wondering when they'll get round to slagging the tea ladies or the kitman.

the book is another nice external thing to blame.
Pep, to me, is an assistant coach. But would wish him all the best as a manager, wherever that is.

Pep's book smacked of giving it the big. He talks too much and tempted fate, since there is little intensity in any of our play atm.
Let Pep goto Wolves and promote Matos.

Get rid of a top coach because he tempted fate with a book.
Now there's a sensible suggestion.

I wonder how many people have read the book?

So, we now want to control what they do in life. We must have insights from sources within the camp that he had been skipping his contractual hours writing the book; otherwise why should anyone have any issue with it? Or has he given out trade secrets which is 'reason' behind our poor start? Baffling comments.

He's already tried to fly "solo" in the dutch second division at NEC 2018, and got the order of the boot when NEC failed to achieve promotion to the eredivisie in the 2018 promotion playoffs.

If he goes to the wolves he's going to change his name to Pep "Leave us"

Let wolves take him, we need fresh ideology. our controlling football is getting us caught out.

Wow, just wow. Where was everybody’s concerns last season when the bloke was given control of the team by the club for the League and FA Cup? Everybody thought it was really good step in his career progression to eventually replace JK? And remind me again, which trophies did we actually win?

He is being given additional responsibility by the club 1) to get him up to the next level in terms of potentially stepping up when JK leaves and 2) to keep JK fresh and motivated by letting him focus on priorities.

One last question - does anybody seriously imagine that the club didn’t know about or approve his writing the book?

Like I said it’s a book - nobody is being forced to read it - there really is no5hing to see here.
