Folks. it was an annoying result but overall can we really be mad or complaining at klopp.

think about it

we are creating so many chances. literally a new team and the new guys have fallen off especially those who have never played in england. its normal this time of year. just unlucky in these moments but creating is good

we pushed city and arsenal all the way making it a 3 horse race - they spent tons and are ahead in development of their team. so think of the potential we have

we were miles away from spurs man utd and chelsea. again with a new team that's positive

a few more tweaks at the back to make it more difficult to score against us with some new ideas can only enhance this team

yes we were almost there so it hurts more but come on. i haven't even named all the pluses yet

next year will be exciting. a year under their belt u never know folks

klopp has done well for us come on. relax.

I get what your saying Red, but we can't keep a clean sheet, and I think that it was telling that our two goals came from a full back and an OG, other teams today, and their strikers are scoring most of the goals .
Bowen got a goal and an assist, Isak more goals .
looking forward to the new manager and staff coming in, we need at least 3 new players, and can I mention better coaching .

I'm just happy that we'll at least get the "pushing them all the way" trophy. Easily the most coveted.

I'm joking of course but we shouldn't be making excuses for when we are falling below what is possible.

These players are capable of going better. We should expect that and not make excuses for them.

Here is how this rubbishshow has evolved, Klopp in the post match interview " i thaught the boys did really well" if the manager looks at that match and finds nothing wrong with the tempo and the intensity we played at then hoe on earth are the players going to see it? We think the players are just crap but the manager is in looloo land saying he is happy with that, we just were not lucky enough to convert all the chances we had with the possession we had. I am saying it now, we don't need a rebuild, we need a manager that has a fire in his belly for success just like what klopp had when he first came, after he won the league and CL he lost any ambition and had no plan b because there is no plan b required when you not really interested in what you are doing.

I agree, first half was so slow so boring, then we let in two really soft goals again, better coaching and a tougher manager would make a difference, still we got a vital point, we really need Top Four and Champions League .

Salah again gets a poor rating today 2.76 and also has an argument with Klopp then refuses to speak to the press!

It's such a shame the way the season has finished after all the optimism but some of the post on here about Klopp are ridiculous and coming from some people who over a month ago were waxing lyrical about him. I did start to believe a few weeks back that it could be our season and we might get the fairytale we all wanted and this optimism was that we weren't actually playing great football but were grinding out results, so the hope was building. I'm as disappointed as anyone about the past few weeks but the truth is I think we have overachieved under Klopp for many years. There were times when we didn't invest to build the squad when we should have done. don't know if this was FSG or Klopp or both but what I do know is we have had a fantastic journey and we should give him the send off he deserves as we will miss him and he is leaving behind a very talented young team and let's just hope the new manager can take us forward and let's get behind him but not forget Jurgen and everything he has done for this team and us supporters.

Invest and build in a squad is the problem now? So if we had more players would it of fixed this slow poession based, backward passing no plan b method from klopp? If you had a business, and the manager you have in charge in moaning for the last 2 years about being tired and that his wife wants him home to do the laundry, would you place millions of $ at his disposal knowing full well that there is a change coming soon?

I’m not sure how you can say Klopp overachieved. 1 premier league (could easily have won 3/ 4) and 1 champions league (could easily have won 2 champos and 2 Europas) . People are too busy framing it versus what came before and on relative terms rather than the absolute.

There was an interesting stat during the game, we are well ahead of the top 4 in shots on goal by a long way. Bearing this in mind and with all due respect to our front men, with a natural goalscorer which are rare i think we are in with a shout and could have won the lge. Gakpo and Gravenberch were good today, the foul on Macca was a yellow minimum, that decision stank apparantly the player did not use enough force for it to be a clear and obvious error by the ref. What was they wanting a broken leg? Blood, Macca subbed?

but its vital that we bring in a No6, and yes I know, Baj is nearly there, def need a Striker, so many shots on goal, but not enough actually goals .
