Question for the eds or any of the posters familiar with some of tge younger teams. I've seen that Daniel Cleary has been picked to go on the pre season tour and that has generated a bit of press in Ireland
Does anyone know what the club has planned for him or how the view him? Potential loan for the season, future first teamer or with the signing of Gomez who is a similar age just one who won't be quite couod enough for Liverpools first team?

Hi eds, I was watching the u21s against Chelsea on Monday and thought Daniel Cleary had a great game at centre half against a really promising Chelsea forward, I heard the commemtator talking about a policy of getting debuts by the age of 19 so I was wondering if you (or anyone posters) know if the club rate him or have plans for him to go on loan soon?

Just finished watching Texeira play for Brighton and must say was impressed with his performamce, easily the best player or at least the most creative player on the pitch. He did fade towards the end but he looks like an excellent technical footballer

I'll never have a go at a player who wants to stay at Liverpool and gives 110% everytime he plays, I'm not going to say he's a world class striker but had he been given the time Balotelli and Sterling got up frontI'm sure he could have bagged a few goals
Thats not having a go at Sterling either, he's much better playing behind a striker or out wide

Definitely not getting a dud even at his age, he was liverpools best player in the Europa League final and put in some great performances last season. I don't think many liverpool supporters would be upset if he was still at Anfield.

Admittedly I've not seen much of Goetze in the past few years but isn't his best position just behind the striker? We've already got Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana that can play that's role, I'd prefer if the money was spent on a wide player with a bit of pace instead.

I know our front 4 is interchangeable but Coutinho normally plays from the left, which is probably his best position, so what do people suggest doing with Coutinho if Moreno plays left wing?

Best player on the pitch last night for me, considering he was playing with a centre half and two centre mids who haven't played much football for Liverpool I thought he was brilliant. Positioning was excellent as well. I wouldn't blame him at all and I'd have no concerns if he was to start at centre half on Sunday.
