So if Chelski win their two games in hand will a point against them next week be enough to secure top 4? Think it could come down to a win at Brighton. 🤞 it won't though and we can get it done next week.

All I know is that we shouldn’t rely upon others results. We have to beat Chelsea and put an end to the matter.

If we draw our next two games or win atleast one then we'll finish 4th.

Obviously if Chelsea drop points elsewhere then that'll change things.

Aslong as we avoid defeat to Chelsea we shouldn't need to panic.

If we scrape past Roma and get no further injuries, then we might as well go all out against Chelsea and at least get a point. That way it’s pretty much done, and I reckon if we did go all out against them we’d beat them. I think we’ll play it risky though and do it the hard way, leaving it to the last game against brighton and probably playing the same team we played today against Roma.

I wouldn't even have gomez on the bench against roma the lad had been poor in the past few games his positional sense is pretty poor at the moment an probably needs a break.

Truthhurts, a break is the last thing he needs and I don't think that'd do his confidence any good. He needs more time that's all, him or Clyne? it's a no brainer.

Has anyone even notice that Gomez just came back from injury and is short of game and match fitness or are we going to keep acting like all that never happened.?

As for top 4, everything is in our hands, plain and simple. Chelsea just beat Swansea (just barely cos they were dire so it's a 6 point gap with 3 to go for them. If we get a point against them, it's all over cos even if they win the other two games, and we even draw Brighton, we get top 4 on GD cos I don't know where Chelsea will find 17 goals to match the GD gap we have over them. All that said, we need to focus on Rome and Rome only. The top 4 will take care of itself esp. cos just like in this semi final, IT ALL DEPENDS ON US.

We have to field our front 3 against Roma and Chelsea. If they play then by the end of next weekend the chances of us being in the CL final and guaranteed top 4 will be extremely high. When any 1 of that front 3 doesn't play they don't look like the unstoppable force they do when they play together. And that is not an insult to them individually.
