as gutted as we all are about yesterday, we did not lose the match and we still have plenty to play for, its amazing how with 1 draw we won't be winning the title, yet if had won we would have been the real deal, I hope mane has a good tournament with Senegal and comes back to us fully fit and ready to carry on where he left off, minus that brainfreeze yesterday he has been brilliant for us, the good news is that our next match is vs man utd at least no Liverpool player will be short of motivation for that clash, we must not let yesterday become the start of a spectacular collapse, we are still in a wonderful position and we still have plenty to play for, one final thought for klopp, trust your young players more they are just as capable of playing in the EPL as they are the cup matches.

Yesterday's was crying out for Lucas instead Can got picked and let's be honest he could have played a lot better. So hopefully Can will learn from his mistakes and Klopp will see that Can is not a DM. Anyway Red's onwards and upwards.

it was lucas that gave the foul away that led to the pen not can. and you don't how the game would have gone with lucas starting. for me he all ways gives fouls away in dangerous places. but some players can do know wrong.

Can gave many fouls away in dangerous positions. The fact is Mane just had a brain lapse and it cost us some points. It happens. Everyone calm down and stop pointing the finger.

Mane has won us enough points this season. think we should forgive him for that one 😀

We desperately need a bit of grit in the middle. For me a strong DM is a must if we want to challenge for titles.

Can't blame everything on Mane. He did score the goal and the only player who looked like scoring one yesterday. The goal was coming by the way we were playing yesterday!

Absolutely. Lucas gave away the foul which finally led to the goal. Lucas is no world beater as some seems to think on here. He is just an average player and this is why he is not in the starting eleven. This is why klopp is willing to let him leave in the transfer window. He may be a nice guy etc etc and hence the man love from many of u but player wise he is just average.

How does Lucas get blamed for a foul he didn't commit? Anywho I see the simpletons are out in force again finding any simple target to blame.

It wasn't a foul in the 1st place.

Can is like Lallana last season: caught in possession too often. For a DM, that's not ideal. He has potential, but he has to move the ball quicker instead of trying too often to beat a man.

Lucas has seen better years, but I don't see how he was at issue. That was a pretty generous call.

How the ref gave that call but inexplicably missed the demolition job on Studge a few minutes before that, is what is doing my head in.

Dodnt we concede by 2 penalties? And dominate most of the match?

Why was can so bad?

It was a draw. move on you fixkle lot.

If anything mane mistakimg him self for a gk was the biggest thing from yesterday, yet hardly mentioned.

Good call Hamilton and very true.

Absolutely no way was that a foul by cann outside the box.

It was a perfect intervention using his body to shield the ball.

Poor performance by the referees.

I don't see why the officials don't have to come out afterwards and answer for their performance to the media.
It's the not knowing that wind people up.

Spot n Barry and Dermot. This is why Klopp said he didn`t know what to say or what the players could have done in his post match comments and can you blame him? The double standards alone n both ref incidents is enough to put your fist through the wall. Now as for the WH - Utd game, that was just daylight robbery.
