Mo will have offers, he won’t want a transitional season.
Let’s not underestimate agents in this. They will want a transfer as they get a cut of the fee.

The really good rumours very rarely appear these days. Everybody takes it seriously some of the time but some people take it seriously all of the time which has sucked all the fun out of it. The target of the rumour is pretty often rubbishd and the person providing the rumour is more often than not rubbishd too. Sad but true.
By the way I heard a little whisper that we are in for a well known Portuguese lad who generally has the number 7 shirt. You heard it here first ….

Ron, pretty sure agents will get a fee regardless of whether there is a transfer or not. Their job is to negotiate the contracts etc for their clients, not just the transfer fee. I would imagine they'd receive a fee regardless, particularly if they negotiate a hefty signing on fee.

Agents get a percentage of the players cut. Players get a percentage of the transfer fee.
There will be a signing on fee both ways.
WDW3 - why are we having a transitional season? Maybe because we have a new manager, new tactics, new coaches and new training methods.
Let’s not forget Klopp’s transitional period - was it 7th or 8th we finished?
We may not, but I’d humbly suggest it’s a possibility which players consider.

@Ron, it was a serious question. Klopp started out with a poor squad, relatively speaking to the current squad, and needed to change quite a large percentage of the first team squad. The current squad is better and does not need wholesale change.
Klopp introduced a new way of playing with the emphasis on the high press which was a radical change from what had gone before. Slot’s (apparent) preferences are a lot close aligned to Klopp’s and it won’t be Anywhere near as drastic.
If I’m being honest the word ‘transition’ seems like a bit of a pre-emotive cop out for us not being as good as we think we should be.
