Hi eds , happy Friday and all that,
I dunno if this has been asked already, but isn't there any English clubs stupid enough to buy balloteli with cash to burn. ie West Ham or some1 like that? Just read about the huge bonus he gets that was in his contract if he stays more than a year

Redkieren

{Ed001's Note - no interest in buying him right now.}

11 Jun 2015 21:17:22
Eds any chance of us going for micha Richards? I see today that he is close to going villa!
He is better than anything we have in that position and free transfer and i'm not certain but I'm sure he wouldn't comand a huge weekly wage!

Redkieren

{Ed001's Note - he is crap, is asking for big wages, is lazy, doesn't turn up for training and when he does is 'last on to the pitches and first into the changing rooms' to quote his former boss and has a real attitude problem. We have absolutely no interest.}

1.) 11 Jun 2015 22:32:25
well you can't be more clearer than that.
He had so much promise when he took Gary Nevilles place in England

2.) 11 Jun 2015 23:19:15
How many games did he play when taking that place. He's garbage

3.) 11 Jun 2015 23:58:04
Worse than GJ. I know, YIKES!!

4.) 12 Jun 2015 08:51:11
When he was younger, before his injury etc he did look like a really good player IMO but since, no thanks

5.) 12 Jun 2015 14:24:17
My mates bro was on the books of City and his dad told me stories of him,onohua and Ismail Miller being terrible at training and not even doing technical drills.
Shame really cause he has the natural ability and when he came through at City he looked a future world beater.

I have always been right with my predictions
( predicted for the last 3 windows
That Torres would come back) 😳

Well
Here it is.

Real Madrid will sell Isco this summer and
They will put in a £30m bid for couthino. and he will leave.

Yes he recently signed. But so what!!!!

Surely I can't be wrong with every prediction ed?

Redkieren

1.) 17 Jul 2015 14:03:56
Then let's buys Isco then?

{Ed002's Note - Not going to happen.}

2.) 17 Jul 2015 15:45:51
Which one won't happen Ed002, Isco to LFC, Coutinho to Madrid or both?.

{Ed002's Note - RM have shown no interest in Coutinho and whilst Isco is available and there have been discussions with other clubs he won't be moving to Liverpool.}

04 Jul 2015 08:21:47
I must admit a few years ago I did want to shift Lucus on, he is about as Brazilian as a roast dinner, but with ALL the attacking players we have in our squad selling a holding player just doesn't make sense unless he is replaced, eds if we do sell him what are we going to do? Do you think can will take up that role?
We ain't the galacticos, fair enough with suarez we had the attitude of you score 2 we will score 3, but this year surely must show a better defensive record,
Also as skittles has as good as signed looks like we need a good penalty stopper for the amount of times he pulls people down by their shirts.

Redkieren

{Ed001's Note - Brendan prefers a deep lying playmaker.}

1.) 04 Jul 2015 08:44:20
If the deep lying playmaker is Allen then we will see another season of disappointment. The holding role is integral to a teams success and he just isn't good enough to take use to the level we desire.

If Kovacic is brought in to play there or Can is given a chance in that role I will be 100000 times more optimistic than seeing JA start there against Stoke.

Our business thus far has been pretty good, but losing Lucas for the sake of Allen would undo all of that good work.

2.) 04 Jul 2015 09:21:57
Any chance on this planet ed001/002 these lucas & Intermilan 'negotiations' are to help get the Kovacic deal back on track?

Seems funny they won't negotiate his sale with us but want to buy Lucas.

{Ed002's Note - I really have no idea what you are talking about.}

3.) 04 Jul 2015 09:33:30
No lucas and Milan negotiations then?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

4.) 04 Jul 2015 10:11:31
My guess is he will adopt 4-2-3-1 with Henderson and Milner as the '2', with Can as rotation/cover. Then as Milner fades with age over the next 2-3 seasons Can will partner Hendo more and more.

5.) 04 Jul 2015 10:16:38
I hope like Ed002 says that there are no negotiations between Inter and LFC for Lucas. If there are, i hope those talks break down and the Inter owner goes back home a disappointed man. Brendan has lost his marbles if he sells Lucas and keeps Allen.

6.) 04 Jul 2015 10:24:20
Our win ratio greatly improves with Lucas in the team.
If Rodgers replaces him with a deep lying playmaker, he's either an idiot or so stubborn and stuck in his ways that he's willing to make us a worse team in order that we play "his way".
Cutting off "the nose" to spite the face?

7.) 04 Jul 2015 14:42:33
Mikey if he does that and we start losing then he will be sacked within the first five games of the season for sure. For me, Lucas should play every game if fit. No if's or but's about it.

8.) 04 Jul 2015 18:24:33
I bloody hope milner doesn't push Can out the team.

Milner has experience and is a decent, reliable player, yes, but Can is a special player. If we force him out through using him too little i will have lost all faith in LFC.

9.) 04 Jul 2015 22:31:01
IMO, Milner should never have been bought because he's no upgrade on Hendo, Lucas or Can, talent wise.

09 Jun 2015 09:28:40
I know our owners have a policy of bringing through and buying young talent,but we need success NOW!! THE ZLATAN would be perfect for that, and also falcao wants to stay in the premier league, eds what are the chances of us entering the race for either of them 2? I'm getting fed up with hearing us after championship and second rate euro players, this is liverpool football club.

Redkieren

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe you are even asking.}

1.) 09 Jun 2015 11:11:00
I know, I must have woke up on Mars.
While we are there let's bid for messi.

But seriously we need at least 1 statement player!! another Torres/suarez
Ings don't give me the twinge that they did.

2.) 09 Jun 2015 11:54:20
Mark my words, the striker acquisitions are done. We'll see Ings and Origi start next season until Sturridge is fit, then we'll see Sturridge and Ings with Origi and Sinclair as back up.

3.) 09 Jun 2015 12:09:35
Honestly, I can't understand why anyone in their right mind would want to even consider Falcao? The guy may as well be a myth of a player who once was at this stage. The future for Falcao is Qatar or Asia since they're the only people crazy enough to pay huge wages just for a past it name.

4.) 09 Jun 2015 12:53:12
Ozone "until Sturridge is fit, then we'll see Sturridge"

You won't be seeing much of Sturridge then.

5.) 09 Jun 2015 13:01:18
Ozone, you said the last thing last season, it backfired. We get it man, you hate the owners.

6.) 09 Jun 2015 13:13:08
The great origi Who got voted in to the French league team of the year (worst team that is) and went 6 months without a goal. I would chose out of contract Carlton Cole over him. Well. That just ridiculous but you know what I mean, surely the owners don't plan on us winning the league. because at this rate it will NEVER happen, I'm a better manager than Rodgers and with my football manager 2015 skills.
1 man nearly won us the league last year SUAREZ he demanded the rest of the team played to his standards.
While Rodgers was on the sidelines thinking about his Atkins diet and new teeth

7.) 09 Jun 2015 13:56:18
We made Torres before moving him on. Yes he was decent at Athletico but become top class at Liverpool. A quote from someone a few days ago.
'Liverpool make great players, they don't buy them'

8.) 09 Jun 2015 14:12:13
Yea this is true but I don't think you can put Origi or ings on the same planet as Torres, he was still very high profile even before he came,a lot of people were after him including the mancs and he came with a fairly big price (back then).
we was also in the champions league then,
Iv always thought we replaced a striker with another great striker
Owen took fowlers place
Torres took Owens (-2 year gap with barros then crouch)
Then suarez took torres place,
So hopefully there will be another world class on the horizon

9.) 09 Jun 2015 15:02:07
Origi will be an important player next season. People said the same negative things about Emre Can before he played, Origi is on that similar level I assure you. Pace, power, quick feet, finisher, i'm excited.

10.) 09 Jun 2015 16:11:08
Agree with haych on this one. I for one am very excited to see what this kid can do, from what i saw at the world cup he looked like a more gifted bolasie and let's not forget what boladie has done to liverpool this year.

11.) 09 Jun 2015 18:46:20
My only concern with Origi is if he doesn't score a first half hat trick on his debut that people will be all over him.
He's a young player with good potential, I don't want him under enormous fan pressure, but maybe that comes with a club like Liverpool,

12.) 10 Jun 2015 02:54:59
They should extend that quote to 'Liverpool make great players, they don't buy them, but they do usually sell them once they become great'.
