I’m just glad the Caicedo saga is over. No one is bigger than the club. Would like to see Lavia and Florentino or Tchouaméni as well as a LCB. But now we know we have the resources on a big signing we should test Madrid’s resolve for another player who I think is the better of the two, although both a class and that’s Camavinga. Madrid will probably try to bring Mbappe in this window and we should offer them a way to facilitate that with a big bid for Camavinga. Whether they would sell and whether either Tchouaméni or Camavinga would want to move is another matter.

Take it easy lads. Ed25 is a great guy. His thick skinned but a first game loss always sucks.

I think Luton and Sheffield United will likely go down and that leaves one spot. I think Everton have enough about them to just about survive again. They ll scrap those points you don't expect.


It would be a great help to get a semi decent scorer in the door. I hope they get some reasonable signings in the door to give them a lift.

{Ed025's Note - our financial plight means it’s very difficult Oli. Good player don’t want to come to a struggling club like ours and it’s difficult to get rid of our mediocre players who are on very high wages mate. Really bad management has got us up crap creek without a paddle I’m afraid. But I still live in hope that we have enough to do ok if we can secure a decent finisher..
