Szbo already picked up an ankle knock. Thiago and Baj not in full training. Jones and Elliott just got back. Hendo and Fab about to be sold. Another 3 midfielders gone before all that. Good look guessing our midfield for the first game of the season.

You realise the first game is still 22 days away right? Plemty of time for Szoboszlai, Jones and Elliott to get fit. Plenty of time to add another couple of midfielders. And worst case we can very easily have Trent and Mac Allister in a double pivot with Gakpo playing as a 10.

Up to a couple of weeks ago or so the big debate was whether to get in 2 or 3 midfielders, and it was all looking under control. Now it could be 4 or 5 and the rush is on.
It's all happening very quickly, we're not going to have a pre-season with the full team at all.
It is what it is, and have to make the best of it.
It obviously needed doing, though I'm sure that no one foresaw it happening in one fell swoop.

MK i know. I just meant it's hard even attempting to guess the team. Klopp tends to slowly introduce new players but he doesn't have that luxury this season. With you suggesting Trent in a pivot with Mac then a right back probably needed.

Players get knocks all the time, usually in training. Very few players never pick up knocks, s lot of the time they push in through them. It’s what makes Salah so damn amazing.

Not worried about DS, he’ll be good.

we weren't fighting relegation with Keita and the midfield with on leg between them. so now they're all gone, apparently we'll be worse and in a relegation battle now
