The more I see of Bowen, the more I think how good a fit he'd be at LFC. Great, quick feet and also has a bit of pace to him. Would be a shrewd signing if we went for him.

Yes I am watching him also brilliant player grafter also, must say I am imagining fabihno and declan rice with diaz, jota, mane and salah infront of them . Rice is a serious midfielder .

Think it's time for upgrading our midfield then forwards unless we loose couple of 1st team attacking players.

If we lost taki, origi, ox, keita which is a possibility we should definitely bring in a reliable midfielder with quality . Then if reports are true which I am preying fabio carvalho might have his heart set on us which will evolve our attack and midfield with his ability too attack and press .

In addition to the above, the fact that he is homegrown makes him more attractive for us because it is an issue to be addressed. We've registered only 24 players for the UCL, again, we don't have that 8th homegrown player. Yes, I'm aware there are youngsters that can fill in, but it's still an issue.

And if Bowen is brought in, after just having signed Diaz, it's clear at least one of Mane, Firmino and Salah is leaving.

Considering that Bowen is now 25 and has never played (a) CL or (b) full international football, how much do we Liverpool fans think he’s worth and how much do we think that West Ham would ask for his transfer?
I suspect that there’d be a considerable disparity between the former and latter values?

ArAy1969, the fact that he is homegrown and WH don’t need to sell would make him severely expensive, man. Besides, we need a revamp in midfield more than anything else esp after the Diaz signing, IMO.

He must be leaving in the summer as he was thumping the hammers badge on his shirt after scoring yesterday. Sure sign of a defection!

Bowen’s a decent player, right enough.
But he’s the same age as Diaz, without his football c. v.
In theory, I’d say he should cost significantly less but if West Ham are asking upwards of £45m or £50m even, that’s too much I feel.
What’s great about this Liverpool set up though, they look for value in a new player and invariably find it, so who knows?

We just signed Diaz so we are fully stocked for the front three now so long as none of the big hitters leave this summer.

Juicer, I would guess that West Ham would ask for 60 Million, and I don't think his value is beyond 25 Million. Perhaps 30 if you insist on adding a homegrown premium.
