Fabrizio reporting that personal terms agreed with Konate (assume his entourage) and that the fee will be agreed with Leipzig, circa €35million.

Will this have any impact on Kabak at Liverpool?

How is it Gomez ‘done’ in any way? He’s still very young for a centre back and will be coming back from yet another horrendous injury. He’ll continue to play lots for Liverpool Football Club, we’re replacing Matip on account of his biscuit legs not Gomez. It makes no difference to Joe one bit.

I wouldn’t say Gomez was done. Matip has to go given his injury record. For me our cbs should be VVD, Kabak, Gomez and Konate.

Matip is better then Gomez on his day Sadly injuries have ruined these players. Vvd may never be right! I never want to see a season again like we have!

He looks a good player and is supposedly very good. If we choose to sign Kabak Liverpool would then have Gomez (23), Kabak (21) and Konate (21) for a combined figure of around £48mil.

That would stand Liverpool in great stead for the future. Factor in a young and developing RB in Trent and we could potentially have one of the best defenses in the world in future (if not already) .

Seems like a very good move, but time will tell.

Think we'd be crazy to sell Gomez, absolutely nothing to suggest that Konate is any better than Joe. Besides Bayern the general level of the Premier League is a lot lot higher than the Premier League. Gomez, on a week to week basis has had to face a much higher level of opponent than Konate. Joelington tore up the Bundesliga for christs sake.
