Anyone know how reliable Kevin palmer is? He’s saying Bellingham is all but done after he’s made it clear he wants the Liverpool move.

No idea who he is? Lots of noise tonight about both Bellingham and Fernandez but I don’t see how we afford one of them let alone both of them.

Cheers Ed002 mate, sounds like plenty of interest in both players. Like I say both players are crazy numbers and we are stacked in midfield so I just don’t see it.

I think we could take on debt to cover the players, looking at the current position I think we could spend £250ish million and be ok with FFP. The owners may be looking to do that knowing the debt would be wiped out on a sale. Whether is the right thing for the club is another matter.

There’s 4 midfielders who’s contracts run out in 2023 and of those remaining 2 will be 32 and 33 come the start of next season.
