Hi Ed002, is Firmino also leaving Liverpool?

If he did go he would have to be replaced and anybody coming in would have to be up for the challenge of a serious fight for minutes. That Salah, Nunez, Diaz looks strong candidate for front three with Jota too.

Would someone of gakpo quality take the risk. I doubt it personally.

Think so many forwards have left, think we LL be best served to keep Firmino this year.

Can't see Bobby leaving. Though if a big club comes in for him, he's clearly dropping down the pecking order here. Could see klopp using him behind jota or Nunez more this season. He has the awareness, quality and is better at defending than many midfielders so don't see why he couldn't play that attacking mid role with 2 of Thiago fab or hendo in cm.

He is the one who's suffered the most from heavy metal football (imo), and whilst his career path may be best suited to a slower league, he will continue to have something to offer us and is still world class at times. Get him a new contract asap.
I'd sooner loose Jota than Bobby.

hi spaceman, first time ever don't agree with one of your posts. At this present time i would rather lose Bobby than Jota, just look at goals scored last year for the two compared to the same games played. Also consider age difference Jota is the future, Bobby was the past.

Give bobby a new contract my arse. he stays till end of this season and that's it. Who would want him now? And if a decent offer came in he'd be gone for me. Great player great person but his time is here 2 years overdue. A centre forward that doesn't score anymore. no thanks.

He’s one of my favourite ever players but i’d get rid now for something rather than 12 months for nothing only if it meant Gnabry could come in now. Diaz Nunez Salah front 3 Carvalho Jota Gnabry as cover all 3 quite versatile. Selling just to get something but still waiting 12 months to bring someone in not a chance.

Plenty of clubs is the answer to that. Just because fans have transfer fever and are desperate for transfer activity doesn't mean that players like Bobby are ready for the scrapheap.
He's obviously got limited time left here, but nobody else would want him?

I like Bobby for what he has done as much as most on here and in fairness to him his goals to mins ratio last year wasn’t bad. Considering he doesn’t press or link the play even half as well as he used to though he role would have to be as cover only until we replace him next year with someone more versatile. I get that people defend him etc but we were all laughing our asses of the other day when Ed001 made the joke about Arsenal replacing one froward who doesn’t score with another (Lacazette - Jesus) . So yeah, maybe some internal self reflection is needed.
