Alright fellow reds!
Aussie based fan traveling over to England for my 30th birthday in august, looking for suggestions on what would be the best experience for the game against palace to help bring in the dirty 30. will be my 2nd time to anfield (first was a glorious 3-0 win over wba in 2012).
Should I go a hospitality package or look to get a general ticket?
Any suggestions of pre-match venues for a few pints welcomed as well!

Get a general ticket in the kop end. Regardless of where you're from you will be regarded as one of us so have your vocal chords ready.

Thanks lerchy, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. was in the centenary stand last time high up, still get goosebumps thinking about it, but definitely want the kop.

Personally Id say get a hospitality ticket purely because you know you can get one, and unless you're a frequent traveller back to England you run a serious risk of missing out entirely. The experience is not as good, but it's still better than watching from a pub stool.

Completely agree, migs definitely got a touch on that ball first yes it was only slight but he did.
Felt the reffing was of a poorish quality (to put it diplomatically)
