Hi eds, any truth in the rumour that real Madrid will look to buy moreno for back up to Marcelo? And if so who would we look at as a replacement?

lerchy

{Ed002's Note - There has been no secret to Moreno's desire to move to Real Madrid - and that was enough to put off other clubs being interested in him when he was at Sevilla. Right now I am not aware of Real Madrid showing any interest in him but I am aware that Liverpool have indeed looked at a couple of left backs recently.}

1.) 02 Dec 2015 19:49:59
He looks good going forward but can't defend
Has been at fault for far too many goals.

25 Nov 2015 16:42:23
Hi eds do you know of any players we have now acquired an interest in long term now klopp has arrived. Obviously you guys have more knowledge than most so do you know of any of klopps potential targets. Thanks.

lerchy

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of anyone other than those I have mentioned and some youngsters who have been pulled in or asked for trials (and these will not be related to KK or the first team) that the club has been looking at or formally declared an interest in. Obviously the scouting network will continue to attend matches and I could speculate over a couple of upcoming German players that Klopp may ask the scouts to look at over the coming months, but there is nothing of note that I recall having not shared at this time.}

1.) 25 Nov 2015 18:07:03
Hey ed! We would all love to hear your speculations, just out of curiousity!

{Ed002's Note - You have been a real cutie. As a special treat I will give you Yunus Malli of Mainz and, as a real curve ball, Eintracht Frankfurt's Marc Stendera.}

2.) 25 Nov 2015 19:18:32
So interest in El Ghazi gone?

{Ed002's Note - It remains.}

3.) 25 Nov 2015 21:30:35
Could you name the youngsters (or a phrase I can search), if that's ok Ed? I follow the u18's and u21's so I'd be pretty interested. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - There are a couple of stand out German kids. Yunus Malli of Mainz and, as a real curve ball, Eintracht Frankfurt's Marc Stendera.}

4.) 25 Nov 2015 21:40:09
You do a top job ed. Great site.

5.) 25 Nov 2015 22:25:07
Ronaldo, Bale, Muller, Gotze, Messi.

6.) 25 Nov 2015 23:51:51
BRB - you forgot Reus and Lewandoski.

7.) 25 Nov 2015 23:59:06
Geez Boot room, how can you forget Reus, Aubemeyang, Gundogan and Hummels (who love Klopp and can't bear to live in Germany anymore without him) and Neymar (who will leave to join Coutinho if Coutinho won't leave for Barca)

22 Nov 2015 21:34:12
Hi eds do Liverpool have an interest of lanzini and if he rejects a move to west ham we could then make a bid and sign him?

And also berardi as one for the summer too?

lerchy

{Ed002's Note - No.}

1.) 23 Nov 2015 13:57:34
No Liverpool interest and nothing to do with Liverpool, but he does look like an excellent little player, but we already have one too many "number 10's" and I suspect Lanzini will be signed up permanently by West Ham as soon as possible.

2.) 24 Nov 2015 00:22:33
Like him but no idea why we'd need him with Firmino, Couts and Llalana. someone trying to create a sense of competition to Ensure they get the best deal possible on a transfer perhaps? Liverpool always seems to be linked to possible transfers, perhaps because we have a history of buying lots of players and a Budget to pay?

19 Oct 2015 13:34:48
So this apparent marchisio bid all the main outlets are reporting, was it made over the summer or last week?

lerchy

24 Jun 2015 17:44:24
Eds I've heard the kovacic rumour was started by the metro, other journos ran with it and it became a hot rumour. Apparently the truth is we have no interest in him at all?Can you shed any light on this?

Btw I heard this on redmen tv, they do a great job as do you guys.

lerchy

{Ed001's Note - they are wrong. It was nothing to do with the Metro, they do not start rumours, they copy what is on the net already and make it into a story. So they are not a source, they are merely a conduit. Anyone who claims they started a rumour, clearly has not bothered to do their research.}

1.) 24 Jun 2015 18:23:22
Ok well his specific words were that the metro took it from an Italian paper, with similar credentials to the metro. i hope we actually are interested

{Ed002's Note - It is nonsense.}

2.) 24 Jun 2015 19:40:48
I thought I actually read this article in the metro! Conspiracy maybe ;)

Has anybody seen the arsenal page? They're now copying and pasting ed 002 responses from other pages to answer there own questions.

Lesson, don't mess with the man.

lerchy

1.) 15 Jun 2016 17:53:42
You mean the all knowing Ed002.

2.) 15 Jun 2016 20:25:38
Or woman.

3.) 15 Jun 2016 20:56:10
Was the operation a success then?

4.) 15 Jun 2016 18:04:31
It's the same story in the UTD page as well.

31 May 2016 13:50:03
So bacca is off to West Ham it seems. We should have signed him instead of benteke! 19 goals in his first season at Milan and he suits klopps style.

lerchy

1.) 31 May 2016 14:02:06
I said this not too long ago on this site and someone said 'why, he hasn't exactly set the serie a alight'. Some people have very little knowledge of the game. Bacca would have been great for us and much cheaper, even though he's a lot older, he would have been much more worth it.

2.) 31 May 2016 14:19:59
Did Bacca turn us down for AC or did we not follow on supposed interest?

3.) 31 May 2016 15:01:15
You mak it sound like we picked up the wrong brand of crisps. Maybe he didn't care for living in Liverpool, or playing for bodgers or he was a Milan fan as a kid. Who knows!? We were not the only club in the world who needed a sttiker at the time.

4.) 31 May 2016 16:31:36
I'm not sure gaz could any of the Ed's further elaborate, did we bid or did we go straight for benteke?

{Ed002's Note - My notes from the time state: "I don't know what his agent has said but don't hold your breath for a move to Liverpool. Whilst Monaco, Roma, Spurs, Lazio and Inter (not Milan) have expressed an interest in Bacca, the player says he is happy with Sevilla and the future plans the club has. Milan has gone through the back door of not expressing an interest but simply submitting a bid without talking to his agent or the club. His agent has also made unsolicited approaches to two English sides, including Arsenal.}"

5.) 31 May 2016 16:39:44
OK thanks Ed, 30 or not I'd take him in a heartbeat. Obviously sell benteke but he would be great for origi to learn his trade off. Shame it won't happen.

18 May 2016 12:38:41

4.) 18 May 2016 14:39:21
Is it on BT Euro?

{Ed002's Note - Try the TV guide where you live. Even the simplest tasks seem to be a struggle for many.}

5.) 18 May 2016 16:19:56
Yes its free view on bt europe on sky or tv3 in ireland.

6.) 18 May 2016 15:38:15
Ed002 i was just thinkimg the same. maybe you should change your names to google001 and google002.

7.) 18 May 2016 16:51:21
Thanks for posting exactly my thoughts 002, some require total spoon feeding.

8.) 18 May 2016 18:17:29
Does anyone think bt did this out of the goodness of their hearts or to be slightly more cynical maybe the advertisers insisted it was shown so the viewing figures were a lot higher I think someone posted the other day how disappointing the viewing figures are on bt surely the advertisers can't be impressed with that and its a good look for bt also.

9.) 18 May 2016 17:27:26
Ed002, can you please tell me how to turn my TV on?
Also, what's a TV?

17 May 2016 15:48:36
Hi Ed's, I know you don't like random names being thrown about but ,,,

lerchy

{Ed002's Note - Why not try the European pages?}

1.) 17 May 2016 15:54:34
Could you send the link please.

{Ed023's Note - There's a drop down window at the top of the page with links to all the others websites we have}

2.) 17 May 2016 16:03:52
Yer sorry lads I found it. Posted my question on there, ain't been on for a few months so forgotten how it all works!

{Ed023's Note - No worries}

28 Nov 2015 19:43:16
My prediction for the league

1st city
2nd United
3rd arsenal
4th spurs
5th Liverpool
6th Leicester
7th Chelsea
8th Everton

Sorry ed02 but I see Chelsea doing what United and Liverpool have done previously and finish with no European football, then jose sacked, ancelotti back and a whole lot of refurbishment

Just a prediction.

lerchy

1.) 28 Nov 2015 22:01:11
Looks about right to me, the only doubt about Spurs is the depth of their squad, if they lose Kane or one of their 2 centre backs for any length of time they are in trouble I reckon. We messed up not buying Aldeirwereld.

2.) 28 Nov 2015 22:16:58
Yer well I was going to put Sr the bottom I see us and spurs going down to the wire for fourth.

3.) 28 Nov 2015 23:29:42
Man u are a poor side, City and Arsenal top two the rest of positions to fight for.

4.) 29 Nov 2015 01:35:02
I think Ge Gea is really keeping UTD afloat atm, they have had a fairly easy run of games i think really. i'd have loved vardy and the other leicester boys to beat them today.

I've lost count on the times De Gea has made a few wonder saves. If he does leave in the summer, it will be interesting to see what happens to UTD after he leaves!

5.) 29 Nov 2015 03:01:51
I know I shouldn't but I've got a feeling that united will win the league, every man has been slagging them off but they are still up there.
At the minute I believe anybody has a chance to win it even Leicester and Liverpool.
1. United
2. City
3.Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. Spurs
6. Leicester
7.everton
8. Chelsea.

6.) 29 Nov 2015 06:37:25
Frisky, Man City will win the title hands down. Utd and Arsenal will fall away when the going gets tough. And City always step up their game in the second half of the season.

7.) 29 Nov 2015 11:39:20
Lads I really hate saying this but Chelsea will make top 4, most of us believe we stand a half decent chance at making top 4 and with Chelsea only 6 points behind us having so far had a torrid time of it. We are slowly starting to click and the pieces are coming together quite well when you consider our injured players, But, and it's a big But, as much as it pains me to say it Chelski's players are quite good in all positions with a fair smattering of proper quality only city and the gooners can match. Now it looks like they are starting to come together and look a proper team again I'm not willing to write them off, can see them really tearing it up from Xmas onwards like we did 13/14. Would not be surprised to see a decent amount spent by them either next month. Will make for a cracker of a season as there's now a good number of clubs that are all pushing for top 4. I'm hoping we give the swans a hammering, and it's not going to hurt us too much if Chelsea put Spurs to the sword either, think we will have a fair idea of where Chelsea are at after the game today.

8.) 29 Nov 2015 11:39:58
If Spurs lose Eriksen and/or Loris they're in trouble.

9.) 29 Nov 2015 14:10:35
They have vorm as a sub goaly, he isn't bad as a number 2 at all!

I was just interested in your opinion on him as a player as I've never hears of him if I'm honest and I trust your opinion over pretty much anyone's.

lerchy

{Ed002's Note - He is a decent player - try the search engine - this is not new interest.}

Why they would want to downgrade from arsenal to us I have no idea and I doubt we could get close to matching their wages. Too much FIFA me thinks

Oh and I doubt any premier league team would be able to give ojo ejaria or any of our youngsters for that matter first team football, the championship if your lucky, even then they may not get a sniff as they're young and inconsistent. I think klopp knows what he's doing and we should all back him and his decisions until he proves that we shouldn't

Well we can agree to disagree then harry I think the u23s and training would be the best way to go then a loan move at around 21/ 22. On a completely different subject I think pl teams should be given local feeder teams to send loan players to, for example us and Everton could use Wigan Tranmere etc. I think that's the way the fa need to go for English players sake. Just an idea

Harry you need to remember English clubs push players too young. Abroad a player is still considered young until 23/ 24 I'd much rather ojo ejaria etc spending every day training with our first team and klopp until they're ready I mean look at suso he's just hit 23 don't you wish we kept him around. Keep patience as klopp has he knows what hea doing. Lewa was a nobody at the age of 22 remember that mukka
