Just out of curiosity,have we over the years released any of the Youth Team folk who have went on to another club and had a successful career? As successful as he would of had at Liverpool per se.

Red_Irish

{Ed001's Note - Coady is doing well right now, just got bought by Wolves.}

1.) 03 Jul 2015 23:05:37
Yes, I'm aware of Coady moving to Wolves, but I'm thinking more high profile without being disrespectful. Players that we released that went on to have a great career,that perhaps in hindsight we regretted?

{Ed001's Note - we have not had a good youth academy until recently to have that issue, it is this crop that are the ones who can go on to be good, not previous ones.}

2.) 04 Jul 2015 00:20:26
Who knows, might make it to the PL with them next season. Glad he's doing well.

3.) 04 Jul 2015 00:29:15
How is Adam Morgan doing Ed001? I remember him being one of the ones a lot of people thought would come through.

Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - just joined Accrington Stanley on a free, so not that well.}

4.) 04 Jul 2015 00:43:40
Lambert. Didn't Nolan play for Liverpool? Danny Murphy had a solid career. I know Danny Guthrie initially hot game time for Newcastle. Going furtherback you have the likes if sebastian coates

5.) 04 Jul 2015 09:03:57
Martin Kelly will be one of that I'm certain,but he was cut less as a youth but more as an adult.

{Ed001's Note - good point on Kelly.}

6.) 04 Jul 2015 09:28:56
Mikel San Jose of athletico bil was in our academy I think

And Gabrielle palette & tom Ince

That's about it really

As ed001 has stated this crop is the one but I.do want to add that for every Owen coming through there is a lot of mellors in there.

7.) 04 Jul 2015 09:47:16
I think we might regret letting suso go too thinking about it. I went back through all our old youth teams and haven't really seen any of the late 90's early 00's that made a career elsewhere. As ed001 said it's this current youth group of the last 3 years or so,that we may regret letting leave. I think maybe Tom Ince could be classed in there,but I don't know if he will ever be a prem level winger.

8.) 04 Jul 2015 10:44:27
Tom Ince will never amount to anything good with his father doing his talking regardless of any talent he has imo

Eds,

I'd like to get to know you folks a bit more, is it possible you folks could do like a Bio on yourselves with like Career history,interests etc.

I think it would be pretty cool to know a bit more about the man/woman behind the mask per se.

Cheers.

Red_Irish

{Ed001's Note - actually that is not a bad idea, I might get something done on this when we have a bit more time.}

1.) 12 Jun 2015 13:28:04
Aren't you guys supposed to stay anonymous? So we can guess whos the gigolo and the rodeo clown and the snide ol man?

{Ed001's Note - I never said they would be serious ones......}

2.) 12 Jun 2015 13:37:26
Ed001, Didn't you do one a few years back when it was just Football Rumours where you gave your names and short history ie, football journalist and writers. I remember a few months back i went on a link and it came up again?

{Ed001's Note - I don't remember sorry.}

3.) 12 Jun 2015 14:31:24
Not serious ones. Ed001 that's not on!

Everyone knows that I was born in the jungle and was raised by a pack of wolves, who called me Mowgli. Then, when I was older they said that I had to leave them and return to the man village with a black panther as my guide, he was called Bagheera. Apparently I was in danger from a Bengal tiger named Shere Khan. I met a bear named Baloo, and a orangutan named King Louie on my journey to the man village.

When I was 20 I was the one that found Hitler's body in his bunker in Belin. He didn't shoot himself in the head, that's a lie. He had a nut allergy unbeknown to many, and I found him with an open packet of Big D salted nuts next to him.

After that I can of laid low for a while until the Russians sent me into orbit in 1961.

Then in 1981 I was shot protecting President Reagan, now though, I just grow cucumbers in my green house at the bottom of my garden. I know I've not done much with my life Ed001 but at least it's out there, and 100% fact which is what we need from you and the other Ed's.

{Ed001's Note - are you sure you haven't been reading Ed002's autobiography?}

4.) 12 Jun 2015 15:18:23
I might have Ed001, what's it called? I think I do read to much, as you can tell. I'm like Bill O'Reilly on Fox News, if I have seen a picture of it then I tell everyone I was there and it happened to me.

{Ed001's Note - it is called 'Adventures In The Life Of A Gentleman Rodeo Clown'. I have no idea who Bill O'Reilly is, though I did once make the mistake of catching Fox News, never again.}

5.) 12 Jun 2015 16:20:59
Look him up if you ever get five minutes to yourself, the man is a conservative, and very right wing. There was a news story about an anchor on NBC, or one of those stations, who said he had come under while he was travelling in a helicopter during the Iraq war. But it turned out that he was actually a few helicopters back and he hadn't been involved in the exchange of fire.

So this Bill O'Reilly from Fox News liked to tell everyone that he had seen action in Northern Ireland, the Falklands and that he saw nuns being killed in El Salvador to name but a few. Turns out that he actually had saw most of this stuff via photos, he never went to the Falklands he only got as far as Argentina.

I agree,Barclay was making a fanny of himself. He compared the turnover in players after both teams lost Suarez and Lewandowski. And that both managers suffered in the same manner and were practically useless after their departures. What he failed to mention though was that Lewandowski went on a free transfer where as we got upwards of 80mil for Suarez. So the difference in values of each transfer kitty was chalk and cheese. Uncomparable in my opinion. I look forward to greatly to see what Klopp can do with a somewhat greater budget.

Flanagan is further away from fitness than you think. Sure he was living it up in Vegas only 2 weeks ago while the rest of the lads were doing their pre-season.
