On the other side you had Patrick Barclay blowing smoke up Rodgers ass; basically saying he's been underminded, not given a chance, from the first kick of the season the writting was on the wall, its the transfer committee's fault etc. (i.e. blaming everything on the owners and not apportioning any blame on Rodgers).

Like most people I think we should have given Rodgers the boot in the summer; but are people forgetting he had one good season in 3 years? Still has a dodgy defence and the turnover of players each year is ridiculous!

It reminded me why I don't watch this programme!

Was actually on the Australia tour. I was staying in the team's hotel all while it happened!

Tom Werners statement put paid to all the theories of Rodgers being a victim! Victim of his own bs. He' have anyone who'll listen to him believing he was hard done by! Needs to keep quiet.

I always knew BR was a politician and for now, I was right. How could the media have known all our inner workings around the club if someone wasn't leaking info to reporters "off the record". The man is real piece of work and we will now see the full picture of the mess he has left Klopp to deal with.

He's been leaking info to reporters the whole time IMO and they are now reciprocating by blowing smoke up his behind and trashing the TC which they neglect to mention he is the head of. I hope his apologists on this forum are happy with the man they were defending tooth and nail.

I agree,Barclay was making a fanny of himself. He compared the turnover in players after both teams lost Suarez and Lewandowski. And that both managers suffered in the same manner and were practically useless after their departures. What he failed to mention though was that Lewandowski went on a free transfer where as we got upwards of 80mil for Suarez. So the difference in values of each transfer kitty was chalk and cheese. Uncomparable in my opinion. I look forward to greatly to see what Klopp can do with a somewhat greater budget.

I live in Swansea and a family member of mine is a local councillor.Because Swansea council owns the Liberty they have members on the board. They are saying that all the players who worked under Rogers ( including Shelvey) have said that he is a brilliant man manager and that they were shocked that LFC sacked him. Don't shoot the messenger,only passing on what I have heard

{Ed001's Note - here we go, such a good man manager Shelvey wanted to leave. Such a brilliant man manager that he alienated most of the squad for large periods of time. You live in a fantasy world where Rodgers is great when everyone else laughs at him for being useless, like they did at Reading etc.}
