What has ki**ed me off more than anything this season, is not the poor transfers we made in the summer, nor is it the abysmal performances. It's the fact that with 8? Games to go brendan decided to throw in the towel by publicly stating there's effectively no chance of getting top 4. Had we won against hull and west brom? (Correct if wrong) then we would be on level terms with the scum! I thought his tactics were shocking this season all year but when he came out and said that, well it was just the cherry on the cake. Needs to go

What are you talking about it was only after the Hull game he admitted it was pretty much done with 4 games left with Chelsea away to play and he was right so get your facts right.

Actually would have been a point ahead. Watching united lose yesterday just made those performances even more painful. Barring some sort of miracle next weekend we have blown it. Very frustrating!

But it wasn't with 8 games to go, LFCs was over even before it began. The wasted money in the transfer market to overhaul the team because one player lefts. Why was this even allowed to happen when only a maximum of 3 players, and some from the academy would have sufficed?, LFC needed quality, instead, quantity won the day with BR in charge. The rubbish served up in the first part of the season added to the misery, even more, BR does not have the foresight to change things when required, and instead leaves it way to late, like January. Under BR, LFCs season will always start in January.

Google is a wonderful thing and so easy to use. Rodgers did in fact say that after the arsenal game and even rewrote history claiming he brought sterling out of the youth set up and not dalglish. So max is quite right i'm afraid. Its easily confirmed!

There have been some v good performances against the top teams in the last year,some victories and some loses,MU away this season being a case in point.But why does every Brenda apologist use last seasons effort to give him another season,last season we had a player who was bein mentioned in the same breath as messi and ronaldo stoke could of challenged for CL with the runt playing like that

Ed you said that sterlings contract has a further 2 years to run. Is it possible, that his agent has recognised the new tv deal comes into force within that time scale, could be one of the reasons they're holding out. Huge impulse in capital, could potentially alter wages significantly. Obviously I don't have a clue, just a thought. :) cheers

Hi Eds/Reds,
Just wondering what your opinions are regarding whether the location of Liverpool FC, hinders our progress? With Sanchez choosing arsenal over us and the fact even with money, attracting good players to mersey side has been pretty difficult for many seasons. Would we have a better team if we were based in London? Also eds, you're probably sick to death of manager questions, but honestly who would you have take the saddle? thanks

{Ed001's Note - I doubt it will be before the end of the year, at the earliest. We have a few other things, competitions, games and some new features for the sites we want to put out first. Developing an app takes time as we have never done anything like it before.}

The thing is though, we don't have a good squad, how many of our players would get into the chelsea or arsenal squads? i'd say two/three max. Our defence is poor bar sakho who would be brilliant with the right coaching, midfield is weak, lucas is brilliant on his day, but half the time he's either injured or non existent, Hendo can turn up, but half the time does nothing really, can is constantly being played in CB where he has been found out on numerous occasions. Coutinho is a different class to the rest of the team when he decides to turn up, haven't seen someone with his technicality for years. Sterling and studge are good but ones almost always injured and the other can't shoot. There are many poor players in our team and why oh why lambert, toure, ballo and borini are in the squad I will never know. By the way Enrique and manquillo, they spend more time playing pranks on eachother and playing table tennis on lfctv than they do playing bloody football!! What's the point in having them?!
