Can we put to rest now that Stevie G will take over from one of the GOAT managers in a few years now please?

No defending Stevie the manager, amazing player, terrible manager.

I said as soon as he went to Villa. If Tyrone Mings out lasts Gerrard at Villa, I want nothing to do with him in a Managerial role at Liverpool.
Worst CB in the premier league and stripping him of Captain isn’t enough. Should’ve got rid in that Window, he couldn’t see the problem, therefore my mind was made up before he Flopped anyway.

In fairness, he bought Carlos and Kamara to be guaranteed starters and strengthen big weak spots and both have had major injuries at the start of the season and his squad couldn't cover for their loss hence why Hause and Mings have played so much.

And he achieved something with Rangers noone else could achieve for a very long time.

Its difficult being such a high profile name early in your management career im sure, so let's not completely write off the guy in his first few years of 1st team management!

Would probably benefit from some time as an Assistant or with the Unders to really work on his craft with less pressure. let's see what happens.

The guy was an icon for Liverpool so he's earned some credit from me and I'll keep on wishing him the best!

JK in his pre match conference has just said he had a brief conversation with SG this morning and said "we all have knocks in life it's how you respond to them that counts".

JK also stated since he retired from playing football he notes SG has not had a proper rest, so must have advised SG to take time out for a bit, similar to what JK did when he left Dortmund i suppose.

Ibou and Keita will resume full training on Monday, also praised Curtis Jones saying he was an exceptional player and exceptional talent and can play different positions in different formations and glad to have him back.

He also confirmed that he has played 4-4-2 in the last two premier games because of stability and closing gaps that were left in previous games, and also when you play the same specific system for so many years which we have done, players lose "desire for the detail" he also said "little things change a lot", so had to change a big thing (formation) to accommodate this giving players more responsibility than the previous system. He also said he does what's best for us and worse for the opponent when making tactical decisions.

He never mentioned Nunez injury concerns (if there are any? ) . LFC have a zero in one of our premier league results columns i fully hope that is replaced with a number one tomorrow (our first premier league away win this season) .
