I've been critical of some replies by Ed02 in the past and we have butted heads but on some self reflection I didn't appreciate what must be the exhaustive frustration he gets when trying to share legitimate views and information at a level that won't confuse or wind up the less than intelligent faction of the forum.

The insane fall out from the Klopp comment is a prime example. He has for years (when the events actually happened) explained what was done wrong and right in approaches and sales and it's no surprise to long time readers that Klopp has been unprofessional at best in his general transfer conduct.

Let's put the benefit of knowledge and experience together with the years of valid explanations and accept that Ed knows better than us and wouldn't make it up.

Thanks to ALL the Eds for a mainly thankless and difficult job in dealing with us lot. It really is appreciated.

We all love Klopp he’s doing great things on the pitch for us and really assembling a group of players that could have us competing at the top for years. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his faults whatever they may be. Why should we deny he has these faults. He won’t be the first and last player/ coach to have negatives but still be loved by fans. But Ed’s is pointing out facs and facts that many of us have no idea about and that’s why we read this forum in the first place. We can’t have everything as butterfly’s and rainbows sometimes we will read things we don’t like but that’s life and that’s the way it is. People need to grow up except things for what they are and greatful we get the information in the first place.

It's just to take the focus off the fact we are brilliant at the minute. Let's concentrate on winning the league and Champions League instead of listening to drivel. Believe.

Mourinho cheated and hid in a laundry basket, Clough punched several of his own fans. The list goes on. Klopp has deceived authorities and whatever else he did and Ed002 has an opinion on him which is fair enough. I for one don't really care, I don't know klopp personally and never will so I don't "like" or "dislike" him. He is just the manager of the team I support and that's it. People shouldn't take things so personally.

Well said stuie. I tend to think Ed002 has his nose out of joint about much of what we lfc fans tend to think. I also think this is largely warranted. Klopp is no saint and ed knows this more than any of us do, so cos we need his info more than he needs our attitude, just pull your heads in lads.

The way I see it, the ed's put a hell of a lot of work into this site, and provide us with information that we cannot get anywhere else. They are human beings (at least, most of them are), and they have their own views, morals and opinions. If any Ed expresses these views and you disagree with them, don't get pi$$y about it and attack the person who gave us their views, be confident enough in your own opinions to (silently) disagree and move on. If I were in Ed002's clown shoes, I would have snapped a long time ago, listening to all the crap he gets (and all the crap he gets that never even reaches the site for us to see), and I would almost definitely try my best to wind up and call out anyone who decided to take a personal shot at me for expressing my opinions on a site that I help run!

If you ran a shop, and had a steady stream of customers coming in and abusing you, you'd shut the doors and never open them again. let's hope the Ed's of this site never do the metaphorical equivalent.

I don't mind his opinion. But we know it. And I feel it doesn't need racking up every few months. As it's common knowledge and we all including Ed002 know it's going to cause problems! Cringe to say it. But c'mon Utd!

Theres a few people on the site who can't take any criticism of Liverpool, be it a fair critique or just banter. Its a shame, but it happens. Its a small minority but a couple of them seem to have multiple accounts which explains the downvotes. Either way its never great to see the eds (Ed002 and Ed025) in particular on the receiving ends of it with the work they put in.

It also extends to some posters. I regularly see Salah's incredibly innocuous posts down voted for seemingly no reason. Not sure what possesses people to be like that but its worth taking a step back sometimes and gathering a little perspective.
