Dear Eds

I don't really watch Burnley' s match so I don't know about Tarkowski. After Macca mentioned his name few weeks ago, I went to YouTube for him and found him strong, good in air, relatively fast for a CB and seems good at ball at his feet. For sure many professional footballer would look like Messi on youtube so may I ask how do you rate him?

If he really comes, does it means both Klavan and Matip would be allowed to leave?

Thanks for your time. Have a good day.

{Ed001's Note - I have a batch of player profiles I am going to do next, he is one of them mate. So, if you don't mind waiting a couple of days, you will know my thoughts on him.}

Cool Ed. I dunno, I just posted saying he will never get in front of lovren let alone matip and gomez and Klavan. But, I am warming to him, he's got a bit of carragher about him eh.

{Ed001's Note - I am saying nothing!}

Can't wait for the player profiles. Great idea tris. I'd love to know more about

Shaquri
Simon
Luan.

Of I had to settle for one it would be shaquri, I reckon he's a colourful character who has played for some of the world's finest teams and Stoke! He has the ability y to turn a game with a moment of magic and I'd be fully chuffed if we signed him. Many people thought he was going to become world class do that sdhows his skill. I think he could fulfil his potential at anfield.

{Ed001's Note - it will only be Shaqiri of those, as I have never seen Simon play and only seen Luan once or twice.}

Apprently you just need Luan look to know if he's right for your team. That's the Luan thing he's got going in his favour.

That'll be great ed01, love your articles, thanks for the effort you put in to making this site super cool. I'll be looking forward to shaquri. Although he's been in the prem for a while I don't know much about his weaknesses. I've seen him score wonder goals on motd, 12mil seems an absolute bargain for a player of his skill set.

{Ed001's Note - that is the problem, people see the MOTD clips and not the other 89 minutes.}

I wouldn't want Shaqiri for free never mind 12 million.

Salah can I ask you to view his goal against everton and then say there is not at least a little talent there lol.

Shaqiri seems to have the talent and diffently has the pace we are looking for don't know much about his attitude but nowadays you can't buy much for £12m so if he has a problem keep him for a year and sell him on for a tidy profit. Seems like a no brainer to me.

His attitude is awful but if he could sort his attitude out then I think he could be a good player. But he’d have to accept a back up role, unless he manages to dislodge somebody. Has the talent but attitude let’s him down. For £12 million I would be happy.

Stoke are hardly ever on tv so unless some of our fans are seaon ticket holders there then I would imagine they are in the same boat as me. And that is I've seen hardly any of him to really judge him correctly.

I would add that I’ve not been on the Shaqiri band wagon but I wasn’t with Robertson, nor the Ox. Both players caused controversy on this site and how wrong we all were. Whoever Liverpool sign is outside of our opinions. Trust in Klopp.

I would prolly take Simon over Shaquiri cos well, Shaquiri is lazy, poor, inconsistent and his attitude stinks. Simon tho, is a hard worker, young, skillful and has bags of pace. He also has a higher ceiling for improvement than Shaquiri BUT if Klopp wants him, what can we do?

It looks as though we are finally able to go after and (hopefully) sign the big name, big talent stars to improve our first 11.

However I don’t think Shaqiri would be a bad shout.

He’s lazy, apparently has a bad attitude and only performs well in 1 out of 5.

Accepting all of that Klopp does work wonders with players but even if he fails with Shaqiri, with the crazy transfer fees nowadays I cannot believe we would not make a profit in 6-12 months.
£12 mil could net us £20 mil on name alone even if he fails!

Also we’re not then wasting huge money for a bench warmer after shelling out so much on first teamers.

I don't think we are in a position to slate his attitude, we don't know him, he could be a lovely guy. He said he was the best player at Stoke. So what? He is their best player. He joined a team who were pushing for europa league football and then they sell all their best players and they get relegated. I understand his frustration, the club lied to him.

Joncrow is right, he has talent, real talent. If he were in a champions league team I think his attitude will be very different, he would be where he belongs. I would rather have bought on shaquri than lallana in the ucl final. He can turn a game in moment of magic. I really really hope we sign him. Have faith, our recruitment team are pretty much spot on. Remember the fuss over Robertson and the Ox, two of our best players now.
