Question for you lads, as a united fan looking from the outside in. Apparently Klopp knows your defence is pony, correct? If so two things, why in 3 or 4 windows has he not made reinforcements? Firstly, We know he wanted VVD but was told he wasn't for sale. Why weren't others targeted instead? Secondly, if he's aware the defence is crap, and ta obvious these individual error will keep occurring as they have been for a long long time, why doesn't he alter the team set up to give the back four more protection? If he's fully aware of the issues at the back, why not tweak the system to try and give some cover for the poor players behind.

We have no idea we look enviously at other clubs - would bite my arm of for a bailly - spurs have Alderwereild, dier and now Sanchez looks decent - koscielny is decent - I just can't help thinking if we didn't get vvd we could have just tried for a up and comer - give them a go!

Can't give protection to errors. It's simply something you can't anticipate.
He should of got better players in, but at the same time, he knows the players are better than this.
Many a game lovren has put the leagues best CFs in his pocket. Mignolet played out of his skin for the last 5 games of the season.
His patience with them is wearing thin I can assure you stand. A brutal January wouldn't surprise me.

3) Maybe he can't identify any alternatives with the skill set he wants, it's not that easy to find players like that who want to join LFC
4) Multi-million pound question: I can only assume he's trying to tweak the system but the tweaks aren't taking effect.

He has made reinforcements but has also stated that a team can be improved by more than just signing better/ different players. We definitely need a leader at back. Someone who defends for their life like carra did. throwing themselves in front of everything, hard tackling, stretching every inch to intercept balls. Players who might give away the odd pen, or stick one in their own net on rare occasions but all because of heart and effort.

1) Klopp is mistaken if every player should be defending. Its not always about pressing and running around, sometimes tactical smartness is needed to lessen the effort required.

2) The reinforcements are Sunderland quality rather than LFC quality.

3) Maybe he should alter his philosophy so a larger pool of defenders can be targeted that can mesh well into our team. No need to be so stubborn and particular about signings.

4) Klopp needs help with his "tweaking" coz the only thing he is doing right now is taking the team backwards.

You can't have it both ways though stand. I think the midfield do offer protection, especially Hendo and Can. They don't stay back permanently but then if they did Hendo would not have been there to set moreno up for the cross over the six yard box that Bobby firmino tucked in.

I thought we were great in the first half going forward and we should have beenough 4 1 out of sight by half time. We were three or four inches away from being 4 1 up at half time.

The defence were so bad it's embarrassing. Moreno was easily the best of the four even covering at RB at times! He was unreal going forwards but the lad ain't a great defender. I honestly think he could be a winger. Coz he is good further up. You can point to moreno not getting goal side for their first but any defender would've believed lovren was going to clear no problem. In a way I feel for them (matip and especially lovren) they come under such criticism due to our attacking style and their own mistakes and you can see there is zero confidence back there and then lovren goes and let's the ball somehow get past him and the fans criticise even more and the confidence is even lower. The thing is they deserve the criticism. Liverpool fans are not unforgiving. Two minutes after firminio hit the post 45.000 fans were singing "Bobby Firmino"

There are positives to take from the game. Like I say could easily have been the 5 1 I predicted. Should of at least been 3 1, 3 2 but cela vie, it's not a loss and the other two teams drew so it's still all level. Plus pc sturridge and AOC is some bench and I think we were the better side easily although I was impressed with seville's patience, they didn't panic and stuck to their game plan and got something from the game.

We can't do anything about our defence until January so there is no point cling for players to be dropped. Klavan last week and gomez matip and lovren were all crap, they're suffering a real crisis of confidence at the back atm. If fans want lfc to achieve anything this year then constantly bashing our defenders isn't going to help. Dispassionate like that though, the defence are not helping themselves. They deserve criticism yes but constant bashing will harm our chances this year. Just my thought. I'm not too gutted about the result.

I understand there might not be many cbs with the skill set klopp wants but there must be hundreds of cbs who would have improved us who would love to play for liverpool.

We're the top scorers in the league, conceded the fewest, just scored 3 in our CL games. Call it what you want, Jose already has two trophies under his belt in 12 months. Jose can hand pick 3 or 4 top players each window, but at the end of the day he still relies on the likes of Felani who suits his parked bus-battering ram approach to football,
Take Degea out of their team and your left with the same defensive failings as we have.

Klopp and the club went about business half arsed in the summer, targeting top players for the positions where we are weak.

Them players were not available because they are off the quality needed to improve any squad.

It took a Stoke team with half the talent of LFC's attack to expose your lot for the bus parkers that you are. Stoke could have scored 4 in that game so you have no credibility to talk about defensive footie being good at Utd. Your manager plays a defensive system for that very reason: Your defence is crap and if Jones is the best defender in England then sorry, England has no defenders.

Jose would prefer to compete in the CL, but where we finished the season before he arrived is no fault of his is it. We have no credibility yet we conceded probably less than only 1 or 2 teams last season. This season we've conceded 2 in 4 games yet we have no credibility. Why be so bitter? There wasn’t many, if any CBs who where available who would fit our high line, and it seems every game he is changing the back 4. Unfortunately he won’t change anything else much in the system because he is all about attack and when it is working it is 1 hell of a joy to watch.
