So VVD has not played any competitive football for 7-8 months after a bad injury.
Is it not extremely unlikely that he would pass a medical before tomorrow's deadline?

If we get Brazil's physio in to look at him Ron he will be good to go within minutes 😜.

It's possible, but I am sure all Medicals are based on individual merits. LFC will be aware of his current fitness and will consider this as per the medical. As long as no underlying problems from scans etc. they will allow the medical through.

We all know medicals don't really do fitness etc. Look at Carrol they're just they're for issues in the body that could increase the chances of injuries or problems Eg underlying heart problems or muscular issues. So wouldn't suggest it would be a problem Ron.

He's been training at Southampton hasn't he? So why wouldn't he pass a medical?

Well he trained and has done some recovery from his injury. I think as a Pro-Player you should allways be fit enough to pass those test. I don't think this will be the problem.

We signed Aquaman from hospital bed!

Ron, if a club wants you to pass a medical (esp. if you don't have some grave heart issue or anything like that), you will pass that medical, I can guarantee you that.

If he was allowed to turn up he would pass it no problem. It's a medical not 22 selection.

Medical would be to identify long term injury issues.

Liverpool signed Aquilani who passed a medical with a broken leg, so I would say the medical is not the issue.

If he's over his injury then he should just be a bit unfit . Shouldnt be an issue.
Id be more concerned that Pipsqueak fails his Barcelona medical after his horrific and debilitating back injury.

He's been uninjured and training all summer, most recently with the U23s. Will need a long time to get match fit, but passing a medical won't be a problem.

The concern is how long we have to be using our current psiting before he got fit.
