Bot a rumour, but karius as suffered a broken hand in training in the US, expected to miss 2 months of the new season. And looks to be out until October early November, big blow.

Gives Migs the ideal opportunity to better himself and stake a claim to be No1 for all the season that would spur me on.

Migs in goal for some tough fixtures. Oh well there's always next season.

The irony of it is. it may have happened when he accidently punched Lovren in the head!
They both went for a ball in the box. Lovren headed it clear and Karius flattened Lovren, who had to have treatment but came back on.

Ed001 wasn't wishing for this when he blew out his "21" candles.

Seems a long time out with that sort of injury, he'll be able to train and I would have thought he could play with some sort of cast before October/ November.

Think I'd still pick him over Migs 😄.

Migs was no1. It was up to Karius to try and win the spot.

He is out for about 2 months and the injury happened when he went for the ball and punched Lovren's head instead. During the match, from where I was sitting, the goalkeeper came and completely missed the ball, and Lovren who headed the ball to safety was punched instead.

im not a doctor, but presume it depends on exactly what is broken in his hand. i broke my wrist once and it was painful for over 4 months. and it took me a while after that before i could use it properly. if its a single broken bone, i suppose it is more straight forward. any doctors out there who can advise?

Mignolet' s wife knows black magic. Forster replace mig and was injured. Now karius.

another reason why I liked the time in football when goalkeepers used to catch the ball, all modern goalkeepers punch when most of the time its easier to catch the ball, having said that I wish him a speedy recovery and we have to get behind the migs for the first two months because quite frankly the idea of manninger starting does not fill me with confidence, there is always the goalie who played up front ( sorry I forgot his name)
