Can was poor all game and klopp made the right decision to take him off. I don't agree with making all the space for moreno at the moment when he needs to work on his crossing. Coutinho is being played in the wrong position if klopp decides to go with lallana. Benteke needs that support there and I don't think lallana is suited in the hole. We do need amother striker with ings out and sturridge back when he finally heels. We miss Hendo in midfield. Hoping sakho will recover fast and glad the international break is now so hopefully not to serious and is back for the City game. It will take time but it's getting there with Klopps way of football and I'm glad he is so passionate already about the club.

I would have brought Allen in for Can and asked him to keep the ball and spread to wide areas. Allen is a better footballer than Can ( I am sure of getting stick for this opinion ) Firmino should have come in for Lallana.

Origi isn't up for the premiership so ship him out on loan to another premiership team so he can get used to it. Sturridge is more of a liability these days and we can't exactly rely on benteke given his injury record as well so ye I think we need another striker or bring back yesil so what he can offer.

Allen was one fine player a couple of years ago played alongside Britton for Swansea. He is technically brilliant. Keeps the ball well and is a master of short passes.

Now tell me apart from a very physical structure what dies can offers?

1. Is he good in passing?

2. Good in dictating the game

3. Good positionally?

4. How good is his defensive awareness

5. Does he s scores goals Ike Lampard?

Which of the above factors you think he would be regular in our starting eleven?

I am not slagging him, But He needs immense training and coaching.

From my personal point of view of the game, Allen is a better footballer than Can.

Play Allen next to Lucas and not in place if Lucas.

EG, Can is good at passing, he controls the game better than Allen, and how many of these things can Allen do?

Luckily Henderson will be back soon after the international break and it will most likely be at Can's expense. But still he is a great young player who will undoubtedly get better with experience.

Does can score goals like lampard? How many do? Does Allen? Does Can save penalties like Reina? Does he have the moves like jagger? You can name things he's bad at all you want, doesn't make Allen better. Does Allen get bullied? Does he get assists?

Can's biggest problem is decision making. Doesn't pick his runs or his passes well and positions himself poorly when we don't have the ball. This was plainly evident in the handful of games he played in central midfield under BR last year and it's starting to show again. Technically and physically he's fine, but he needs coaching and experience. He has only had 2 seasons of regular senior football and has been moved around a lot positionally in that time.

Allen would be more intelligent in his choice of movement and pass, but he every time he's gotten a run of matches, he's had a game in that run where he was completely dominated physically by the opposition and that seemed to destroy his confidence. I would have to assume it'll happen again if he's picked, and I honestly don't think he'd overall do any better than Can. So until Hendo's back, I'd stick with Can and try and work on his game, because he has the potential to very good.

EG allen on to ''spread the ball to wide areas'' We had NO problem doing that infact we were kept very wide on purpose. we distinctly lacked a central option and Kept putting terribly lofted crosses in and it was predictable, we were kept well out of zone 14 throughout most the match. Allen for me just would not be able to fill that running and harrying role that comes with the press, I don't think he's strong enough to dispossess a player, intelligent enough to know when to press, he isn't anywhere near attacking minded enough to then play an incisive pass if he does get the ball in the press.

What I;d have much rathered see was Ibe being played on the left, the lad LOVES to cut in, and kept doing it to get us in central, but on his left cutting in from the right he's far less effective.
Lallana did the best he could and did his usualy at the edge of the 18 which was find space and make space for other players, I like him playing at the edge of the 18 where his control, touch and vision are best exploited.

Can's role (for me from what I've seen) is to bomb forward and get teams running back, create the room by driving past other players and committing players to challenging hima nd moving out of position. He does this well, but his final pass has been forced, he looks for the forward ball too often having gained ground, he needs to learn that sometimes having run forward 20 yars. he's already got the ground, made up, play it off and stay central to the attack. He's 21 and still trying to learn his role, and wasn't helpedlast year being forced into the right central defense role. He's making mistakes and should have just cleared that ball for the 1st goal but over time I expect him to come good. Allen however wouldn't have come close to changing that game going forward.

Firmino did JUST that when he came on for Can he offered more centrally going forward and freed up pipco and and Lallana

BTW if any one gets the chance to watch both goals, please please please see how poor Clynes positioning is in both, Not that he's responsible for the 1st but he just doesn't pay attention to puncheon peeling off asking for the ball, and realises FAR too late that bolasie is coming left and shooting.
In the second goal I haven't even got a clue who he's marking, or doing, he simply watches the corner come in and doesn't move. I am MYTHED as to why our fans love him.
