Just curious what level of interest LFC had/have in Ben Arfa? Seems a much better option than Moses.

That injury prone stuff is BS, we thought Alonso was injury prone and he should us at Madrid (I know it's ironic he's injured now).

1.) Ben Arfa is so talented but he hit or miss! When he's good he's unstoppable but when he's poor he is awful. His injuries are also a worry as when he looks finally flying fit he gets another injury. After each injury he seems to take a while to get back to his best too. Must admit though he is a joy to watch no matter what!

2.) Doesn't seem fancied due to inconsistency. I have watched him a few times and he drifts during a full 90mins but no doubting the talent is there.
Buck would be good with him as he likes the arm around the player pep talks which I think would do him the world of good.

Moses seems to be done deal unless anything changes in. Next couple of days so guessing this won't happen

3.) Personally would be very happy with Ben arfa, fast, skillful, scores goals and premier league ready. Injuries can be worked on (RVP etc) and don't think being at Newcastle helps his form. Their team is very inconsistent and tbf leaves him having to try and do a lot on his own.

We have 6 CBs (Coates, Skrtel, Agger, Toure, Sakho, Ilori), do you think one of them will be converted to DM?

Thanks {Ed002's Note - Wisdom and Kelly to be released from their contracts then?}

1.) Kelly is recovering his confidence (slowly) after a serious injury and Wisdom was earmarked for a loan before Johnson's injury. Skrtel was available for sale, as was Coates. My simple powers of deduction suggest Rodgers sees Sakho pushing both Toure & Agger to start, Skrtel providing experienced back-up with Ilori being eased in slowly and possibly loaned in January if Skrtel stays and the young fella isn't getting too many games.

We should just make a bid for Konoplyanka (LW/CAM) and Yarmolenko (RW/ST), they would be very cheap in comparison to Willian.

Can any of the Eds confirm that we have shown interest in either of them?

1.) And if we get Kyriakos Papadopoulos it will make us the most unpronounceable team in the EPL and we will get all our transfer fee back from letters on shirt sales!

2.) Enquiries only methinks. They'll be on a list of about 2000 scouted players. Any serious interest would have surfaced by now.

3.) Since when is 20m very cheap?

We could get 3 very good players in for that amount.

Since downing is going to west ham and we need a big player in the centre of the park, is there any chance Diame could be part of a player swap deal?

1.) We want to try keep possession not keep losing possession. He is hugely over rated.

Is diame a LW?

A two year loan with an option to buy isn’t that crazy, I think that’s what bayern had for James Rodriguez.
But I don’t think this would happen it will upset too many people.

He doesn’t suit our current play style as he holds onto the ball too long but he’s one of the best in world at breaking a team down when they play deep. A master of cute flicks and passes. His assist to Sturridge when he turned his back on the ball and let it roll over his heel was just ridiculous.

Stuie_boy we should aim to win every competition we’re in and it’s virtually impossible for our front three to start each game. No one said to rotate unnecessarily, there were times this season where we could have done with fresh pair of legs to come of the bench that offers more than just a height in the box. I hope brewster is given a chance but he hasn't played any minutes in the prem so we can't rely on him to come on as an impact player. And mate you don't have to be injury prone to tear an ACL. Let’s not forget we played gini up top away to Barcelona when bobby was injured.

I’m convinced I’m talking to a ten year old. If you can’t see the hypocrisy in ‘Nobody is suggesting that is the case’, God help you.

Wow, how you manage to misunderstand my point regarding robertson is beyond me. I was saying we can’t expect to find a diamond like robertson all the time when buying cheap. He is a clear outliar in the correlation i was referring to.

Real class with the idiot comment.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody is suggesting that is the case. You clearly have little or no grasp about transfers and the "quality" of players. You really are wasting your time here.}

Ed i strongly disagree with you. There is a clear correlation between cost and quality, and if we want someone to compete with the front three they have to be of high quality. Are you expecting to find a new robertson?

‘and trying to justify it with the suggestion that Klopp will change the successful approach he has by starting to rotate players with no other reason than to keep other players happy’ - not once did pegleg say this. We want to rotate because we were very lucky with not getting any serious injuries to our front three and we would like to challenge for the domestic cup competitions and can’t expect out current team to do so.

And the jealousy of man city. I wouldn’t call it that they’ve just set the standard for what the premier league is and we need to keep up. And just like any competitor in any aspect of life, to match them or overtake them should be the goal of every LFC fan since we’re not far off.

{Ed002's Note - Ok, I accept that Robertson is useless because he was so cheap. Idiot.}

Real Betis? Seriously? Why would he take a step down they haven’t got champions league football. Why are bigger teams not going for him?

Im suprised how well he did this season when fit. Not going to lie I thought he wouldnt cut it the season before. I think it was against Araenal away when we drew and sanchez beat hin in the air to score a header. Pretty sure he played right back that game still not a fan of him in that position. Hope he keeps excelling at cb and becomes more vocal.

They definitely do they just seem to wait until they’re 100% sure it will happen so they don’t need to deal with abuse.

I much prefer back when the eds and Macca just used to say what they knew and people took it with a pinch of salt.

Maybe they can make throwaway accounts to post the rumours they know so abuse isn’t directed at them.
