Avid reader, first post!
Ed1/ readers I'd love your opinion on spurs Davidson sanchez?
Early days at spuds but seems to have settled and played well.
What with our defensive frailties and mess in the summer I thought he could have been an option! I watched him for Ajax v manutd in the europa final and thought he was very good, strong, very quick, good one v one, suit our style.
Then for him to go to spuds he must have been gettable?
Look forward to any replies.
{Ed001's Note - you must be watching a different player to me, as the one I have watched is Davinson Sanchez, who is a liability defensively. In particular his dawdling on the ball and passing it straight to an opponent under pressure, exactly what we do not need. Yes he is quick, big and strong, but almost every challenge he had to make in the Europa League final was due to his mistake giving United the ball in the first place. Spurs have made a mistake there, their defence was better without him in it.}

I have to say I was a br fan but I've now lost all trust and faith in him! I appreciate managers need time, I know we can't compete financially with top 4 and I to don't want to end up like spuds but last season was a mess!! Contract wrangles, players out of position, odd team selections, and for any team to lose 6-1 in the league to anyone says to me he's lost the dressing room! All that on top of a very poor record in the transfer market! Would you give him another £100 mill? This isn't about loyalty and integrity it's about doing your job well!
I know he had a good season when 2nd but I can now see he was fortunate to be able to build a good side around a truely brilliant footballer
