It's that time of the season again when reality sets in, the inevitable is going to happen and we will fall short in the league and win nothing else,

It's the time of the season I like to call "Who is going to leave us for a more successful club? "

Here are my Top 3 picks for this summer:

Mane - City
Bobby - Spain bound, thanks for trying.
Fabinho - Bayern or PSG

Salah saga will be dragged out but he will be priced out and begrudgingly stay. Big big for VVD but we will keep him.

Then one last chance for Klopp next season.

This is ridiculous! We are unbeaten in the league. We get a draw away from home against a very good arsenal side. joint 2nd place.

Why would City sign Mane? their wide areas are pretty stocked.
Why would Bobby move. Our style is play is central to him. He would not get that elsewhere.
Bayern are a mess at the moment and need to overhaul their ageing squad. I can only see Fabinho going to PSG if in the end it doesn't settle well at the end of the year. Not because of success.

We are in control of our Champions league group (A tough group i might add) as well. People need to realise that it really could be a lot worse. I think we've all become a bit spoilt by our good start to the season.

Not a Troll and although I respect and enjoy your posts Salah I know exactly what I am talking about.

If we don't win the Prem or CL this season and they are both very difficult tasks that there are teams better positioned to do so at the moment, we will lose 2
or 3 players.

By the nature of the market, it will be the bigger names that they come for and I wouldn't knock anyone wanting k move on if they have put a few years in with us.

So as much as you all want us to win and I do to its more of a delusion to expect the big names to want to stay when we are winning nothing so I was merely looking at who the main option and likely wantaways will be.

FYI if we don't win silverware this year I would let Bobby go, as I said in my OP. thanks for trying. And to the person who says Mane wouldn’t get into the City team. That's nor cert positive and I think he will be a perfect fit as that will lose people in the summer.

I want us to win everything. I hope we do. I am. however realistic and look at what is likely to happen when/ if we don't.

Although, I understand the feeling, given the recent history of players leaving for more successful clubs, I wouldn't write us off just yet.

We get through Christmas period, and our typical dip in form thru Jan/ Feb, we become almost unstoppable for the remaining three months.

Plus it feels like (I Hope) we will turn on the high intensity game in the second half of the season. The quicker play definitely suits our front 3 more.


So I'd say keep your chin up fella, this season is going to be exciting. Can you imagine if in May the table is similar to how it is now, top 3 within 2 points of the top spot, going to be nail biting!

With the comments of OP, sometimes I wonder if Ed025 is a bigger Liverpool fan than those who attest to be so. He fancies our team, believes in our team, enjoys watching our team and has High regard for what we are doing and where we are headed. Heck, he even has to praise our team to our supporters!

I don’t know if we are going to win anything but I so desperately hope we do. But it’s Nov and we are still in the title race (which usually ends by end of Oct for us), still in CL (and is looking to qualify from tough group) and haven’t even started playing in the FA cup! What more do we want? Be 30 pts ahead in the table and have a place in the finals booked already? On TOP of that, 5 new quality signings that are already lined up for next season just waiting for 1 Jul for the transfer to be official?
