Hi Ed, is Salahs agent still chatting to any club that will listen. Also is there anyone willing to pay him the money he is demanding.
If PSG where to lose one or 2 of messi, neymar or Mbappe would he be an option for them.

{Ed002's Note - No PSG have other targets and he has a very good contract at Last gerpool:}

Salah has benefitted from the formation change. He still a great player. I think we gave him a contract that ensures he is ours and we shouldn't feel bad about that.

I agree Davey. I think the on ball formation change all but signals the end of thiago. Maybe a switch to 2 holding midfielders with a roaming number 10 is coming? With Trent's creativity maybe 2 holding midfielders will allow him more freedom?

Salah doesn’t seem to be able to beat a man anymore so not sure how this change benefits him. We keep isolating him in 1vs1 situations but not sure it is suiting him playing out wide when he doesn’t win his duels. Needs to be playing in between CB and FB imo.

U just cannot fault salahs numbers year in year out. Scores about 30 goals, 10-15 assists and available virtually every game, never injured. Every season no matter how team performing he does it. Absolutely outstanding player who prob doesn't get recognition he deserves.

Can’t get my head around some wanting Salah gone!
Best player we have by a Mile (I know Becker) his stars are second to nine he’s ever present too!
You’ll be sorry when he’s gone and the one who takes his spot gets the death threats!

Did Salah EVER really beat his man much? Tell you what he does do, he averages over 30 a season from the wing and has years left in him yet. Asfit as a fiddle.

Jay Dub who said they want Salah gone.

Salah has never been a "1 on 1 skin the defender" type, it's his pace that gets him opportunities. Being so wide most of this season has hampered him, but if he drifts in a bit when Trent is pulling defenders infield, it should suit him more.

I also think once Diaz is back playing regularly, it'll help Salah with back-post finishes, as Diaz is more of a provider than any of the players that have played left wing this season.

Agreed Rugby. Diaz is like a proper old-school winger who prefers to stay out wide instead of cutting inside and taking a shot. Completely different from any other player we have currently.

Salah scores a lot, misses a lot and wastes the ball an awful lot. Great player for us but by no means irreplaceable imo. Personally would get rid if we can get good money but with the contract we gave him doubt it will happen. He is certainly not going any better and I would argue already past his peak.

The really impressive thing about his contribution is that teams have had years to work him out and yet they haven’t found a way to stop him.

His only dip was really a mental one when Gupta lost to Senegal at AFCON and then again in the World Cup qualification a couple of months after.

I reckon he still has 2 or 3 years at the top at least.

If he's putting the ball in the back of the net 20-30 times a season, what does it matter if he's past his peak or not going to get any better?

Gupta was, of course, autotext’s helpful hand when I was aiming at typing Egypt.
