Other than Palestra to Chelsea, I am not really envious of any signings that have been made by other clubs so far. So we're still in the game this summer.

We have already signed two players this window.

There is also a World Cup window, lots of players only just going on their holidays.

Patience, pal, we will get there. On a side note, there isnt a single transfer in our league so far that I think is anything special so im really not concerned at all.

Chrisy, if indeed you are having a serious case of "pissedoffness" (whatever the football that is) just cos other teams are signing players, may I propose taking a mixture of taking a tall glass of Patience, along with a moderate dose of Complete Non-focus on other clubs' dealings?

I'm not bothered at all. The most important thing is that Iraola wants a chance to assess our squad, and he's the expert.

There have been a few transfers - Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle, and others have had transfers announced - but like I said I'd rather the manager did his job in assessing the players for his system(s).

Stop worrying about transfers, damn it. Please remember that Liverpool have a squad full of top players, and the reason we were so bad last season was entirely down to one man and one man alone. We have remedied the biggest issue(s) with the club in that a proper coach has replaced Slot and Michael Edwards is gone. We will be much better next season.

The same as it wasn't all down to one man when we won the League the season before.
It won't all be down to Iraola if we struggle or thrive next season either.
I understand that it's convenient to have only one cause for something happening, but it's not the way things work, unfortunately. ?

No, Rigsby. It really was down to one man last season, and that is Arne Slot. Liverpool were unacceptably, unwaveringly awful last season. Nothing to do with convenience.

Ed, my take on Peeters is that, unless I'm wrong, Slot had the ability to overrule his methods that didn't work. This is why I say everything was down to Slot. Not everything was literally his fault, but all the factors as to why we sucked last season lead back to him.
