I actually thought that Liverpool certainly had the rub of the green with some decisions in the first half anyway. A few decisions were a little harsh against Villareal I thought. There were definitely some free kicks that should have gone their way but didn't.

Just have to say, I am one of the the first people on the Mignolet out brigade, but he pulled of a cracker of a save in the first 10 minutes so fair play, thought Clyne and Can where a different class tonight, some eejit told me Can was only 22 lol YNWA.

He has always been a decent shot stopper and he does make good saves from time to time. But we should expect that because he is a Goal Keeper!

Clyne was hopeless don't get me wrong, except the odd cross for assist. He was completely poor through out the game. A match where your full backs enjoy unlimited freedom he did nothing and it was most Milner shifting to right to whip in crosses.
Let's celebrate the win and improve the areas where we should be.

con_001 not just a goalkeeper to do what you described mate, but one who can get his angles right and know when to leave the line and when to catch or punch or use hands or feet to try and save a shot, not one who tries to do both in a single movement, look at the goal at Wembley that was a job for his feet, not his hands. A good goalkeeper will inspire the defence no matter who the defenders are like de gea does at man utd.
