No one likes loosing.

But on a positive note. I think Stewart was MOM for me, in previous games thought he was okay but nothing too great. But today he was top class and thought for a kid coming in against a pretty strong hammers side he did well. Lucas also did pretty well to.

Glad to see studge and couts back.

We should have finished the game in 90 mins but there you go. that's football sometimes.

It was a encouraging performance i think overall. Still getting caught out on set pieces and hopefully we will find the goal a bit more over the coming weeks!

lets remember this when summer comes and we start demanding player x y and z. we have these young lads already here, let's start using them before we lose them. sadly I agree with derekpiero about texeira as klopp has aready hinted he will be leaving at the end of the season. a big mistake imo. as for kevin stewart he should start against aston villa. I have been very impressed with him.

That challenge on Lovren, i know he got some of the ball but the follow through looked pretty awful!

{Ed001's Note - that was disgusting - Gardner should be walking for that and a long ban.}

Disgusting. He doesn't have much look lovren. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

The scumbag left his leg knee high, dare I say deliberately?, he had plenty of time to withdraw but didn't. Tony Pulis can go to hell.

3.) 13 Dec 2015 17:59:08
I know. Easily red and definitely a yellow at the very least. It's standard Pulis football though.

4.) 13 Dec 2015 18:11:47
Just a dreadful tackle, whether he got the ball initially or not it looked like the intent was there to cause damage - how the referee failed to even dish out a card I do not know.

{Ed001's Note - he didn't even give a free kick.}

5.) 13 Dec 2015 18:39:06
Because the ref didn't book Gardner do you think the fa will look at the tackle and punish him?

{Ed001's Note - they should do, but this is the FA and they are a joke.}

6.) 13 Dec 2015 18:50:25
Im pretty sure spearing got sent off for a similar tackle a few years ago at fulham and i'm not sure he even touched the player. Think the decision was something to do with excessive force and intent. Considering referees are encouraged to act on these tackles more in recent seasons its amazing this one deemed it wasn't a foul!

Cheers.

Suppose if he gave a freekick he'd have to recognise how bad the tackle was - and then get the red card out. Easier to pretend like it was a legitimate attempt to play the ball - weak refereeing.

Just watched the press conference.

Jurgen is so down to earth and very humble he is a top manager and he's delighted to be here and i'm plus everyone else is delighted to have him. Good things ahead i think. The JK era has begun! YNWA

Disappointing start to the season. Firstly the owners have been very supportive of LFC, let's not forget that. Secondly the players are a good group of players i think some poor coaching of last season and tactics which are none existent or not clear, plus do we have the right players for the right system? is all a bit of a mess, i don't think many people understand their roles.

I supported brendan from the start, even though we came second, it seemed like a step in the right direction i couldn't shake the thought of would other managers of big teams lost the league that year? Why split centre backs? it came down to goal difference really and all year we conceded too many and somethimes dropped points. Even though we did so well things still didn't look concrete for me. I don't think BR was ever ready for LFC, i think he should go, not to say he couldn't be a good managed but i think ego and other stupid things get in the way. But i think it's got to a point really relationship with fans, the state of how we play. We need a new manager.

We have Suarez and a fit Sturridge to thank for 2nd place. It had very little to do with Rodgers, or anyone else for that matter.

Ibe is still growing, i think he could become very good player but agree, would be good to have a proven winger signed up!

That said would also like Marko to have a shot!

I think the last thing Klopp would want right now is a move to Madrid. Klopp isn't like a manager who likes world beaters given to him. The man lives and breathes being giant killers so to speak. He loves taking smaller teams and beating the larger teams.

Liverpool ( biggest club in football history ;) ) wasn't in the best shape when he took over and that's what he likes to work on, a project and bring that team to the top!

Madrid i doubt would take his fancy over Liverpool FC at the moment for sure!

You can see Can's quality and a lot of people forget he's only 21. He always works hard and wants to win. I think over the next 24 months both Can and Ibe can really take it up another level!

Not Milners biggest fan, but looked improved, that said i'm still not too convinced by him, but if he carryies on getting involved with goals one way or another then i can't say anything!

Also agree with Fencey, good to have a player like that who runs a lot but when you have a few players very similar you start lacking another dimension!

I think he's looking a little tired tbh. But he has lacked a little in recent games.

Very good point, i'd never thought about him playing as a striker but i think it could happen. he can shoot with both feet and is built with pace and power!

Stewart was top notch against the hammers but he also showed he could carry the ball forward if needed.

One thing that i don't like about Hendo, i am a hendo fan. If he gets the ball in MF, 9 out of 10 times in space he stands there looking for the pass rather than taking the ball up and forcing a man to come to him to help create a bit of space.
