Hi Eds, do you think we will get in any trouble with tapping up regarding Salah and VVD, seems like we have agreed everything with the players and not the clubs.

What happens if we can't agree a fee? leaves both hung out to dry really.
I'm guessing we only get permission to speak with the player once both clubs are in the same region with regards to a fee? then once personal terms are agreed just iron out the finer details with regards to the fee?
Seems to have changed since the more hands on role of agents, it used to be agree terms with the club before agreeing terms with the player.

I'm not worrying ed, too much going on in the world to worry about a football transfer, just think that this way of dealing with things is little back to front.

Once terms have been agreed with the player then that is the agents job done. Usually the player comes first as usually the player will decide where he wants to move to.
City probably have offered more in wages, does not mean VVD will move to them even if they had to offer a bigger fee to Soton.
VVD can reject City meaning Soton will still be rolling in the cash irrespective if he moves to LFC.

Correct me if wrong but the reports i've seen make it clear that the contact has been with agents, which is allowed and the only player involvement seems to be VVD stating his preferences?
