We’ve taken Endo off and conceded two back to back since, Macca absolutely wasted in the 6. Why not sub Endo for Baj? Love Klopp but these bizarre subs and decisions lately will not be missed. Either let Endo play the 90 or put an actual DM in his place.

I pointed this out a couple of weeks ago mate. Nearly every time he is subbed we concede. Happened against West Ham, Spurs and United as well. Dropped him entirely against Everton and we lost 2-0.

You can’t succeed in the Prem with no DM on the pitch. Look at United. 3 AM’s in midfield and they leak goals for fun.

Lately, he’s been like it for years.

Definitely cost us game, endo off and putting mac at 6. We've soft centre, not near aggressive r determined enough in our defending.

No replacing Fabinho properly has probably cost us the season, I’m not confident we’ll do it in the summer either. Farting about with TAA there certainly isn’t the answer as he’s not good enough defensively, furthermore, if our primary midfield target is Koopmeiners (as is being reported) then it’s another window wasted as he’s not a defensive midfielder in a million years. Until we can defend, can be solid in midfield and close out games we’ll remain as also rans.

We did replace Fabinho though VV. Endo? No? The problem is Klopp keeps taking him off.

United, Endo goes off at 1-1 and we end up 1-2 down which means our late goal was an equaliser, not a winner. (2pts dropped)

Everton, Endo is dropped and we lose 2-0 (3pts dropped)

West Ham, Endo goes off at 2-1 and we draw 2-2 (2pts dropped)

Spurs, Endo goes off at 4-0 and we win 4-2 (+2 GD lost)

Villa, Endo goes off at 3-1 and we draw 3-3. (2pts dropped)

That's 9 points in the last 5 weeks dropped that we potentially would've held on to if Endo had not been subbed off because in the 5 games between the Asian Cup and the International break where Endo played the full 90 we didn't concede any late goals, not even against Man City. Those 9 points would put us top of the league right now. Klopp cocked up by taking Endo off repeatedly. We replaced Fabinho. The problem is we keep hooking his replacement and then bottling games with Macca, Jones and Szoboszlai in midfield. I don't know why Klopp is so stubborn but if he can't see such a blatant pattern then he's truly lost his touch.

MK, we have not properly replaced Fabinho. The key word is properly. Endo is a very good squad member but please don’t pretend that he’s an adequate replacement for Fabinho at his peak, as that is simply untrue. He is struggling at this end of the season which is probably down to the pace and intensity of the league, the fact that we gambled on not getting an absolute top class defensive midfielder and that there is no adequate alternative in the squad has led us to this.

I can happily say thank god this season is over

A different centre back each week
A right back who can't defend cos he doesn't want too

But ultimately a team that's not taking chances an easily conceding

Yes it does need a refresh and hopefully next season will be better.

Can't wait for this season to end now and maybe we can get a competent defensive and finishing coach in. Defenders and Alisson have been all over the place. Let Villa right back in it, who are now threatening to win it.

We might have the worst defence in the league (in the last month)

What about that dick of a referee
How he is in the premier league he should be in the lower leagues .

He shouldn’t be allowed to ref a walking football game let alone a top flight w.

Just for thoughts. Bajcetic to invert from left-back to create an all conquering 2-3-2-3 with trent on the right. / Maybe crazy but need a home for Stefan in my mind.

Peps a pretty successful idiot then….

Chequebook manager.

{Ed014's Note - you need to forget the money and think of the football his teams have played.

He’s a class act and the best get to pick and chose where they manage.

The fact his club are cheating W⚓️’s isn’t really relevant unless of course you’re bitter about something.

They as a club have to live with the forever tag of cheats for the vast majority of us but I doubt they give a toss.

Beggars belief that now the title has seemingly gone we've reverted back to playing Trent as a more traditional fullback.

It worked very well today, attacking wise it meant Salah could get in the game. More width too from Trent and meant there was always a switch on to the opposite wing (or fullback) .

After the subs we lost our way a bit. But a lot of it came from inverting Trent leaving the right flank horribly exposed. That being said both goals conceded was horrible play and very poor defending but the switch of personnel and tactics allowed Spurs a way back into the game. Not too concerned, this Spurs team have shown they can fight - they did against Arsenal.

Game management is something this team needs to get better at. I thought the midfield also had a tough time, as good as Endo has been for me, I feel we do need a world class CDM in there to compliment the talents of Mac Allister and his midfield partner (whether that be Grav, Szob or Elliot) .

Anyway, good result and an enjoyable watch. Hopefully we can win our remaining fixtures and finish on a strong points tally of 84 and give Klopp a great send off!

Agreed about the chnges but that is also understandable since the game was fast paced and it would take time for the subs to get used to it. Baj was also out for quite a while so match fitness was an issue for him. Still, I think bringing him on when we were 4-0 up was the best time we could have done so.

Spurs made good changes as well, bringing on Richarlison who always seems up for it when he plays against us. I feel that he injected a lot of energy and bite into a Spurs team that was sorely lacking it. But once our changes got the hang of the gama again, I felt it was a comfortable end to the game.

I was a bit disappointed by Nunez though. Feels like he's trying to hard now and seems to be forcing it at times. He needs to calm down a lot more because he was very poor when he came on. Got into good positions but wasted it.
