Based on the financial results today and the clearance re ffp it appears my predictions in August and more recently in feb re financials were correct.

Thanks for all the good work eds and reds. Not a rumour but I notice the LFC accounts are due to be filed and therefore made public by28th feb. They will cover the year to 31 May 2014- ie excluding sale of Suarez and last summers buys. I reckon they will show the club made a small loss/broke even in that year, so not much added to the clubs debt and good news for ffp going forward. Just a thought- and we shall see! Btw I previously posted as Crazyhoss but can't get my i'd to work now.

So good news - whilst we will be restricted financially like all clubs with ffp it seems the period of remedial action is largely behind us. we should have money to invest in the team as we continue to grow commercial revenues and look towards the new tv rights contract.and not just based on player sales.
Also I have some sympathy with the views about the Brodge but think we would be mad to part company with him - he has done a good job with less resources - Man U have spent double what we have in the last 2 years and we are just 2 points behind them. If a dof can be bought in that helps brodge and the club then great but otherwise he is doing a really good and improving job. Will be ion the kop this weds- can't wait! Thanks to all eds and Reds
Cheers
Hoss

He has had over 200m to spend since he`s been here and he had 100m to spend this season alone (only Utd spent more). The last time I checked, that is not pocket change. Comparing us to other clubs is a false argument because we are top 5 in spending for the past 2-3 yrs and we also spent millions during Rafa`s years as welland that wasn`t pocket change either. I want him to stay as well BUT the fear is that he will not accept the changes the owners will peopose nor work w/ a DOF per the Eds so if he doesn`t change, he would have lost the job on his own.

Not entirely sure why we are playing both balo and studge from the start. Surely with a 1-0 lead and Man City less than 72 hours later this is where you play borini and bring on another striker late on if needed. mb the brodge is looking to get an early goal and take players off. we shall see - good luck red men!

He might be trying to kill it early instead of extra time which would be awfull for Sunday

{Ed002's Note - Yes they will soon be submitted.}

1.) Gee, i hope your right man.

2.) Can we afford to pay for the electricity bill or do we have to stick on an extra Jumper?

{Ed001's Note - extra jumpers are always useful, that way the players can use them to replace broken goal posts in the future.}

it isn't clear from the last accounts what the the breaches are (if any) and I expect the next accounts - due to be filed and available next week to show a significant improvement over previous years - break even/small profit due to increases in revenue not matched by increases in player wages, amortisation and write offs. I am not sure the insistence that we are in continued breach of ffp is accurate. One of the tenets of ffp is that clubs can be let off if they demonstrate improvement in their financial situation and I explect this to be the case with LFC for the 13/14 financial year. We shall see.
I will be happy with at least a win and two draws from our next 3 matches. (win the win in the PL)
Cmon red men
