Surely the following players will be sold to raise funds.

Kelleher
Jones
Philips
Fabinho
Matip
Tsimikas.

I think Jones will stay mate. Loaned out at most. He only signed a new deal within the last year.

The rest there is a good chance though ??.

I think Jones will stay too, rest will probably be sold though

Not sure about selling Tsimikas tbh, though if we did sign Ndicka, he apparently can cover lb as well.

Selling all of them would pay for half of Mac Allister.

Honestly I would look to move the captain on. Got to be a smaller side willing to part with £10 million and this is probably the last summer that will be possible.
Love what he’s achieved with the club, but his influence has waned for the last few years.

I doubt Fabinho will be leaving.

Jota as well surely.

Easy, I disagree. I think Miller should be released or move to a coaching role and Hendo takes his spot as the senior player to come in every now and then whilst mentoring the younger players. I agree he isn't the best player anymore, but his character and influence is extremely important.

There's absolutely no way Fabinho should be here next season another year of poor performances on big wages then get even less money in a years time. Klopps job will genuinely come under pressure if he doesn't deliver next year he needs to be ruthless in the summer get rid of the players or they'll get rid of him.

Jones should be going nowhere, he is probably, after Thiago, the only one who can take a pass in tight areas, play a pass in tight areas and see a pass. He is more than good enough to be the first 11.

For me Stu, we don’t need to keep Milner and Henderson around, they can both perform basically the same role in the squad, only difference for me is Hendo might have some value left, Milner doesn’t.
Also Milly covers full back.

LancasterRed, that's actually a really good point. He suits possession football on paper.

12.) 13 Apr 2023

To who?
Who wants to buy them?

@MK, It's a shame he has had a couple of freak injuries, but he is in the Pires mold for the way he plays ( obvious not Pires level) but he happily takes a pass when team mates are struggling to get out, will look forward when in possession, will try something different too than the others, if he could stay fit, we wouldn't need a 3rd midfielder, him and Elliott could rotate comfortably, especially at Anfield where the tempo is more aggressive and we are on the front foot more.

13 Apr 2023 16:04:43
If Jones can learn to release the ball quicker I'd keep him.

15.) 13 Apr 2023
13 Apr 2023 16:19:23
I think Jones has been fit for most of the season especially during 2023. It’s just Klopp hasn’t selected him in the starting 11 or even the Match day squads most weeks.

{Ed025's Note - is that because he is hopeless JK?..

16.) 13 Apr 2023
13 Apr 2023 16:20:31
Jones is nowhere near our level or any other top 6 team either. get rid while he's fit because he'll be injured again before long.

17.) 13 Apr 2023
13 Apr 2023 16:38:49
I think Klopp is just easing Jones into the squad again and not rushing him back and risking injury. Just my opinion of what I hope to be true though. Definitely biased since I have a soft spot for Jones because he is an academy graduate and I badly want him to succeed with us.

18.) 13 Apr 2023
13 Apr 2023 18:50:53
Jones won’t make it he never took his chance he’s championship level at best sell if possible.

19.) 13 Apr 2023
13 Apr 2023 18:47:15
Jones won’t go. I would also sell both Milner and Hendo. I don’t know what they contribute today. Don’t give me this dressing room influence bull rubbish. We are in our worse state and both have done absolutely nothing to change that.
Milner at least is versatile, Henderson is a pepper liability.

I've always rated Jones as a player so I think he will be kept esp. due to the home/ club grown quota stuff we are struggling with as a squad. As for Milner and Hendo, someone made a point in a podcast that next season, we have to find a way to make both players second and 3rd options should they be kept. We can add Fab to that as well, he said. Not sure how we are going to do all of that BUT at least, Milner and Hendo should be second and 3rd choice going into next season, at least. I agree with this take, btw.

Get rid of Milner and Henderson and bring in 2 players who can actually run and get close to the opposition midfield and you go a long way to solving some of our problems.

Lancaster, jones chews the ball he passes side ways or back wards he drops shoulder to left comes back on his right and trys to curl ball in top corner and his biggest problem can't get his head up so does not see forward pass and he won't change mate so jury out for me buddy.
