Not quite Liverpool related, but fair enough. Silva is a genius, but the greatest of all time? At what? Maybe Manchester City’s greatest ever player, but that’s it.

Seeing as there is a man city thread, can anyone shed light on Sane? I thought he would be a mainstay in the side with him not going to the world cup? Or is it just pep switching his options. Just seems weird he hasn't started either game.

My word City are breathtaking. Even when up by 3 or 4 goals they are relentless going forward. They just don't seem to take their foot off the gas.

Not many teams can beat them. We have the energy and pace to press and counterattack them but who else can? United beat them by defending deep and nicking goals off set pieces/ crosses. Hard to see how and where else they'll drop points this season.

I'm still confident in our squad and believe we can give it a good go.
