Liverpool is only top 6 side not to have won anything this season. Let's rectify this next week Reds.

Man City: Premier League Winners

Liverpool: UCL Finalists

Chelsea: FA Cup Winners

Spurs: "Finished above Arsenal" winners

Arsenal: "Wenger Out" winners

Man Utd: "We stopped Man City from celebrating the title at home" winners.

I just tried bantering with a United fan and he completely lost his head 😂 it's all a bit raw for them. Ronaldo left in 2009 and they are still relying on him to save their season!

2.) 19 May 2018 20:08:28
My feelings towards that lot are somewhere between pity and contempt.

3.) 19 May 2018 20:28:58
How the hell did they beat us this season😡.

4.) 19 May 2018 21:00:33
The likes of City can now match their spending power. They’ve had it all their own way since the riches of the PL.

Not anymore.

5.) 20 May 2018 05:41:02
When teams park the bus we struggle, that's why we didn't beat united this season.

6.) 20 May 2018 18:25:02
No we finished above Everton! According to Richard Keys that’s an achievement!

16 May 2018 21:50:58
Fair play to Atletico Madrid, they were a class above Marseille. They work incredibly hard and are brilliant defensively. If we were up against them in the CL final we would struggle to break them down.

Spanish clubs have now won their last 13 Champions League and UEFA Cup/ Europa League finals against non-Spanish opponents, since Valencia’s defeat to Bayern Munich in the 2001 CL Final.

Reds, it's time we remedy this in Kiev. 10 days to go! YNWA.

Interesting stat that, however if we come out firing and harass them off the ball, I think we can upset their flow. I am ultra excited already, and leave for the Ukraine early next Thursday morning, cannot wait.
Estimate their will be at least 40000 scousers there, Kiev will be RED!

Made up for Solanke and Robertson who got long awaited and well-deserved goals today.

But I'm more thrilled about Lallana's return from injury. His quick feet, turns and ability to beat any defender without relying on pace has been missed. Just needs to build on some match fitness and he'll be ready for Kiev.

How good does it feel to actually have options of the bench for the Champions League final? Our 1st XI might not be so predictable and straightforward unlike the past few games against City and Roma.

Win or lose against Madrid it has been a great season of improvement under Klopp!

1.) 13 May 2018 19:57:45
Great to have options but as long as Milner is fit we all know the starting 11.

2.) 13 May 2018 20:27:40
Having options off the bench, is the key takeaway here, not whether we know who the starting XI will be or not.

3.) 14 May 2018 00:04:55
I agree MK, he won’t start and to be fair hasn’t done enough to warrant that but too many here have wrote him off, he’s talented, hungry and seems to have a great attitude. People look at his stats while at liveprool and they don’t read well, but the bulk of his performances have been 5 minutes cameos. He’s a talented young lad who has a great attitude I hope and believe he’ll have a big role to play at the club. I wish him all the luck in the world.

If you rewatch the 3rd goal against Roma, you'll notice that Alisson was a little slow to adjust himself back into position and Salah had a huge part of the goal to aim at from less than 10 yards out.

Salah was on a hat-trick and could easily have gone for the shot at the near post but unselfishly chose to square it to Mane for the tap-in. Huge boost to Mane's confidence and swagger after he missed 2 sitters.

It shows how much of a team player Salah is and that he's willing to put the team above himself. Every game he plays makes me love him even more. He's been a revelation this season. Hoping for more in the seasons to come!

1.) 26 Apr 2018 18:28:32
Salah has always been a team player and he plays and acts like it. Remember, he got 11 assists in all comps. last season at Roma, which is why Dzeko rued his absence all season cos with Salah, Dzeko scored over 30 in all comps. ;last season and was Serie A top scorer. Not surprised the his ability to assist really as that is just who he is.

2.) 26 Apr 2018 20:09:46
That’s why he didn’t make it at Chelsea under moaning arse josey the worlds best pele maradona Cruyff king Kent we’re team players and Mo is in that mold and long may that be for LFC.

Ox out for the season.

Absolutely gutted for him. He's worked hard and has shown loads of improvement under Klopp. He deserves to be playing in the CL final (if we get there) and the World Cup.

Such a shame.

1.) 25 Apr 2018 18:42:29
Does that leave us with 3 fit centre mids. Hendo's injury record is not the greatest. We will need to wrap him in bubble wrap. Leave him out for Stoke and give someone else a run in there. Wijnaldum had his best game in ages last night so keep him playing to keep his confidence and I'm sure Milner could play 365 days a year and not get injured or stop running so he's not a concern.

2.) 25 Apr 2018 18:51:51
Go and win the CL for the Ox 👍.

3.) 25 Apr 2018 18:52:11
Very tricky balancing act for Klopp, looks like we need a minimum of 4 more points to guarantee top 4 (if Chelsea win all remaining games, including against us) .
Ideally need the win on Saturday so we can’t field too weakened team, Stoke are going to be fighting like WBA.
But also need to protect our players, there’s not much quality back up to first choice 11 left fit now.

4.) 25 Apr 2018 19:32:32
Devastated for the Ox. as Ron said, time to go win the CL and get top 4 for him and the other injured players who have helped us along the way till this point. As Klopp said after the game, "We will have to be very creative".

5.) 25 Apr 2018 19:57:22
absolutely gutted about this news. he was just beginning to show some consistency and having impact in games. he's direct running and shooting from distance will be missed.

6.) 26 Apr 2018 01:34:41
Not motm post but some of taa balls up the line to salah are class. Been noticing it so much more lately.

7.) 26 Apr 2018 12:13:09
Is that him out of the England squad and world cup? I am so gutted for him. He has become a massive player for us. I really feel for him, he deserves to be playing in Kiev. I hope we can get him a winners medal. I really am gutted for him.

Just want to point out that 4 of Ronaldo's 15 goals were penalties. Without penalties, he would be just ahead of Salah's and Firmino's 10 and Mane's 9 (none of them took a penalty) .

It's not as if he is far more clinical or doing way better than our front 3.

Can't be arsed about the World Cup, just hoping for no injuries to our players and that they play well for their countries.

Might be a good experience for TAA although I doubt he'll get any minutes.

Scousetim, he received a 2nd yellow not a red. Yes keepers come off the line all the time but in that penalty he literally ran forward before diving to his right. It was extremely blatant and he can't really complain about being penalised for it.

The keeper is young (it was the u17 Euros) and he will learn from this experience.

Might be a controversial opinion but I think the defeats to Leicester and West Brom in the League and FA cups were important.

Getting knocked out early in the cups enabled us to focus on the league and Champions League. We've had a thin squad with not that much quality off the bench. A long run in the cups could have stretched our injury-hit squad even more.

True, but it means nothing if we lose 4-3.

I'd take a 1-0 victory with goal deflected off Ramos' butt 😂.
