Was about to ask about Jiri Pavlenka and recent links but used the search function and saw it had already been answered. Instead I'll just wish all the Ed's a pleasant saturday, have a good one chaps.

{Ed0333's Note - Cheers Seano happy Saturday to you also. Glad to hear the search engine doing its job. I’m watching France v Argentina and can’t decide who I want to win more, it’s a tough decision.

I hoped France will lose so we can get them home and see what's really going on with fekir . No chance though mbappe causing mayhem in the Argentine backline and Messi may as well be on the bench he doesn't look interested .

Me too and I agree it is a tough one, I don't really mind to be honest I just want to see good football - so far France look OK and Argentina look woeful. Seems strange having Aguero and Higuain on the bench (and not even selecting Icardi for the world cup) . The 3-4-3 doesn't seem to suit the team much either. Having said that Di Maria has just scored a worldie so maybe not!

2 worldies and a partridge in a pear tree.

{Ed0333's Note - OMG Parvard’s goal just gets better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better. C’est magnifique Monsiueur.

Such a good strike the projectory on that ball was insane, now the teenage mutant ninja turtle is slicing through Argentina and France are too pacey an slick for them, and we have too wait longer for fekir hahahaha.

Kante is just so so good a dream for any team he plays for!

Parvard’s goal was a thing of beauty, the technique and spin on the ball, oh my!

It was an extraordinary goal - thought he was woeful defensively though, typifies many modern fullbacks in that he was good going forward but had no clue when he actually had to defend. Luckily for him, and France, Argentina showed only fleeting moments of attacking threat - 4-3 flattered Argentina in my opinion.

Who's that one person that just gave a thumbs down on every comment? 😂.

Except Pavard isn’t normally a full back, he’s usual position is at CB for VFB Stuttgart and occasionally playing right back.

Said previously that France have got it all.
As long as they can keep down to earth, we're looking at the new World Champions, for me.

Peaked to early France. They’ll go out in the next round. 👍.
