Is there any reason why LFC have not announced the deal is off. Do they do this type of thing as they have released statmemtd before regarding claims/ rumours concerning players etc.
I will continue to believe the deal is still on after WC until lfc say otherwise. So the question is if it was off would you expect an official statement?

Rio, I think you have lost most readers on these pages. Liverpool never said it was on, that's not how they do business, so why would there be a statement?

There won't need to release a statement, club will only release a statement when they have to go on record or inform fans.
I can imagine we have contacted multiple clubs and agents about players but we won't release a statement about them. This is only been made into a thing because of media and twitter reports.
Personally, in regards fekir, i think we will pick it back up after frances world cup is over.

I stuck up for shaquri, I said he would be a good addition to the squad but if he is being signed as our big summer attacking transfer then I have to say I am seriously underwhelmed.

hendo any would-be deal for Shaqiri or fekir are completely unrelated, they don't even play in the same position. Regardless, I am quite confident that by the end of the window you will not be seriously underwhelmed.

Yeah I hope so Jurgen dude. I'm just dissapionted about the deal falling through. I fell for the media buzz who are making it look like we are going for shaquri coz fekir is off.
I think he's z great little player, (Shaq) buy he is not the missing piece, he is simply a decent squad player.
I'm sure we will sign some high class attacking player.

Prince, chill out man cos you are taking all these things way too seriously. This is football and players fail medicals all the time. If LFC could deal with Fekir's knee issue (if it is indeed what it is), he would be here now cos players pass medicals all the time if their issue is not serious OR player are often signed when they are injured provided it is not an injury that jeopardizes the player's long term health and ability to play at his full physical potential.
And as some one said already, Shaquiri (who I pray we do not sign) is separate from the Fekir deal cos one was coming in to replace Cou and the other is coming in to add depth to the squad. Calm down, chin up and emjoy the World Cup, man.

Yeah I know brover, I'm glad the club didn't sign another Danny sturridge. But I'm still gutted about it. Not angry at the club, no way! What, my first love!
It was so close though eh, the pictures of him in his red shirt, I think it's how close we came that makes it more of a dissapiontment.
Looking at mk's list I like suso. I'd love it if he came back, madness to let him go.
