Morning Redmen,

We got there in the end! The result was never in doubt.

Heres your weekly loan update

Ryan Kent came on as a 63rd minute substitute as Frieburg earned a 0-0 draw away to Werder Bremen.
Kent is yet to start a match but has been brought on in their last 3 matches which is a promising sign.

Jordan Williams played the full 90 and picked a booking for his troubles as his Rochdale team comfortably beat Gillingham 3-0 in what was an early season bottom of the table clash. The victory moves rochdale out of the drop zone.

Toni Gomez played for 70 minutes as Forest green battled bravely but eventually fell to defeat due to 2 late goals against Swindon.

Allan was an unused sub as Apollon Limassol drew 1-1 with AEL.
Apollons next game is against Everton in the Europa this Thursday.

Origi played for 85 minutes as Wolfsburg battled back from 2-0 away to Bayern to earn a 2-2 draw on Friday night.

Chirivella was not in the squad as Willem II lost 2-1 at home to SC Heerenveen.

Brooks Lennon played for 78 minutes as Real Salt Lake beat Seattle Sounders 2-0 at home. This moves Real to 5th in the MLS western conference.

Shamal George had a quiet afternoon in the sticks as Carlisle beat Crewe 5-0.

Connor Randall played the full 90 as Hearts drew 1-1 away to Partick Thistle.

Ojo played for 80 minutes as Fulham failed to hold for the win against Boro conceding in the last minute in a 1-1 draw.

Keita was not in the squad as RBL beat Frankfurt 2-1 at home.

Thanks, Carra. I saw the whole Bayern-Wolfsburg game and I thought Origi played well under the circumstances. He was left on his own up top vs Hummels and Boateng with next to no support at all. However, he held the ball up well several times and his lay offs where causing both CB's issues as they were terrified of his pace and each time he injected some pace, they were panicking as either CB could not come out into midfield with the ball as they like to do cos if they lost it, Origi would be off to the races. Had one shot on target and pretty much fed on scraps the whole game. All in all, a solid performance from him.

The way Volfsburg and esp Betis defended would be a good lesson learned to our team.
