chelsea and utd 5th and 6th eh? Interesting. I don't know, something is telling me Chelsea will improve somewhat and make it to top 4. Utd however, I can't see them getting top4. hoping so anyway lol 5th/ 6th sounds about right to me. I don't believe Mourinho is the man for the job, he's a has been. not going to do anything there. but I love it. #Mourinhoin I'll be saying after we destroy them.

Spurs will finish top two, our inconsistency will harm USB.

Our inconsistency? So far we've played Arsenal away, Chelsea away, Spurs away and Leicester (champions) at home. We have only dropped points in 2 games this season. I would say that's pretty consistent.

If you're going to judge consistency on that of previous seasons then why not base everything else on that too and just settle for 7th now? Last year we got hammered by Swansea and pumped 3-0 by Hull the year we going for the title. If we are getting over the line against teams like this then our consistency is definitely improving. We were unlucky against Burnley and a lot of teams will struggle against them this season, they should've taken points off Arsenal but for a last minute phantom goal.

This the deepest squad quality wise if can remember us having. We've so many options in terms of personnel, shape and tactics. If plan A isn't working we can try something different (i. e. take off Lallana and bring on Studge) . We haven't been able to do that before, so when someone stopped plan A they stopped us. Not so this season, we have different type of players on the bench (Studge, Origi, Can etc. ) who are all good quality and allow us to change the gameplan.

Mané gives us something very different going forward. The only game we lost he didn't play in.

Winning the League this season would be the greatest achievement I have seen from a Liverpool team. I started supporting LFC the season after we won our last Championship, bloody long time ago.

I would be happy with us finishing 4th and so far we look more than capable of doing so.

I would rather see this team take baby steps. FSG will have their eyes on the title but top 4 finish is a much more important factor this season, they will know that.

Long live Klopp!

Black Raven - Your post is spot on mate, shreyanspatil - you have no idea what your talking about, inconsistency, where the hell have you been lad?

Lfc hopeful, I don't know mate, i'm pretty excited about this season, i think we're going to win it out right. I really do. City/ guardiola are getting figured out already. their past 2 games celtic and spurs, 1 point lol. I know what your saying but this is just my opinion, right or wrong.

I know we all have unlucky times, but they're (man city) been sussed in my opinion and that'll be their failure, although of course I expect them to be up there. they might even do it. but upto now I think Liverpool will. We have a better manager and plenty of players who can put it in the back of the net when it matters, I'm really positive about things. a plus side to it all this season is we don't have to worry about any Euro/ CL games midweek, man city do. This will be our advantage on them.

Spurs ruined them and I honestly don't see spurs as a team who are going to challenge for the title, yes they're playing good. but nah, they won't hold it out, Arsenal however will step up as will Chelsea. Only reason Spurs beat them 2-0 was because they attacked them, Man city didn't expect it. As for Spurs, if we played them tomorrow do you think it'd be another draw? I doubt it, we'd destroy them.
