Phil Thompson in the Echo today saying he would love to have Diego Costa on our team. I said this about six months ago on here and got a torrent of abuse, "how could a Liverpool fan think that etc. " well I feel justified today!

I saw a few Liverpool fans choosing Costa or Hazard as the player they would take from Chelsea. I can't see why everyone's answer wouldn't be Kante. Regardless of how many CM's we have, he is the best in the holding position in the league by a mile.

I wouldn't really use Thompson as any kind of validation as his opinion has been let's say suspect over the years. A nation might vote in donald trump into presidency in a few months time, however it does not mean their decision would have been a good one. So by voting in a massive tool would that validate that he is right for the job or that a lot of people had a suspect opinion or notion? Just a poser.

I remember we wanted him to replace Suarez and approached him. Everyone thought it would be a great signing.
He's a good player, he's no Suarez but he's dangerous.
He has an edge which opposition fans like to hate him for, that's natural, but there's no denying when he's up for it he's a dangerous player.
