5 players out, 3 players in. 20 million transfer budget (above what is made from sales) . Who would be the 5 out and 3 in?

The 5 Outs - Bogdan, Skrtel, Illori, Benteke, Balotelli . The 3 Ins - Ter Stegen (to give Mignolet competition), Payet (we badly need a set piece specialist for corners and free kicks) and Lacazette (to replace Benteke) . I've not included LFC players whose contracts are running out this summer, nor paid attention to the money coming in or going out. I've also assumed Grujic and Matip will make it to the first team squad.

Out: Bogdan, Skrtel, Benteke, Balotelli and Allen (he's holding back players like Stewart) . In: Timo Horn, Wendell and Zielinski with what's left over as a squad player.

I guess if you disclude on loan players, players whose contracts are expiring (toure, teixeira, sinclair and Enrique I think) and matip and grujic, 5 out, skrtel, bogdan, benteke, Ilroi, Allen (despite playing better recently) and in a gk, CB/ LB and a winger, but don't knew who!

I am with ra1969, all three mentioned would make a fine addition to the team, especially with the inevitable Europa games, we need the depth to challenge on all fronts.

Ter stegen - dodgy and overpriced, would just be a slightly better young mignolet. There are more competent keepers out there.

Payet - great player but we aren't getting him. He's old and has found his rhythm with west ham, though i do think a set piece specialist is crucial and is a priority.

Lacazette - we don't even need him and is really expensive and wouldn't come to us. I'd rather keep benteke and persist with him than buy lacazette for the money he'd cost, benteke offers something different and i have great faith in sturridge, origi and ings from what i have seen of them.

The outs are obvious, although mine would include both lallana and milner.

I trust klopp with whoever he brings in. Idon't have to have heard of them, i just trust his judgement and management of players to make astute signings. I'm excited to see what grujic and matip offer to the team.

We need another goalkeeper, that is a dead certainty. There is great value all around the bundesliga and any of them will be better than mignolet, not too fussed who is bought as long as it is done.

Left back, again i don't know much about european full backs but i would trust him to buy one with decent defensive qualities, which means no ricardo rodriguez or any more 'attacking fullbacks'. Hector and gurreiro seem to get thrown about a lot.

Another centre back may be needed if skrtel leaves, but lucas has performed well there and is good for the side as a whole so may be worth making him 4th choice with gomez.

Depending on the role he see's for grujic, another holding midfieler, like zielinski, may be bought, but stewart and lucas are in that positiob so it is unlikely i would have thought.

If we are to get rid of both lallana and milner, we need to buy someone who can take set pieces. We should look no further than calhanoglou.

If markovic doesn't stay and milner and lallana leave, another winger would be a good idea, but we do have canos, ojo, kent, ibe and potentially markovic waiting.

If we do our transfers well i can't see any reason why a title push would be unreasonable next year.

If he keeps them i wouldn't be fuming but i don't love them as players at all and believe it would only be a matter of time before klopp realised we can do much better.

Anonymous - Why do you feel we would need another Striker, if we were to only bring 3 players in? How would that help the team? Right now that is not solving the problem, just adding to clutter.
