Anyone else think we have the wrong attitude ahead of tonight? There's lot's of talk of how we should change our game to contain Dortmund and the media are calling them heavy favorites citing the quality of their players and their win over Spurs.

Well sod that. Spurs gave up on Europe playing a second string team both home and away so that result is meaningless. Dortmund may have Aubameyang but with got Studge and he's awesome. They may have Reus but we've got a magician called Coutinho. Gundogan? Hendo will have Gundogan in his pocket.

Yes they're a good side, but so are we and our coach knows those players like the back of his hand. Let's go out tonight, play our game and make a statement that will make Europe look twice. We're not a small team, we're Liverpool and we're back.

Well said. We should go to Dortmund without any fear.
On our day we can beat anyone. let alone Dortmund.
They were pushed close last week at home by Werder Bremen. who scored two goals against them.
They wouldn't have wanted us in the draw, regardless of what they say.
Come on Redmen. YNWA.

I fully agree Muscatred. As I was saying earlier this week - the reason Spurs got such a hiding when the gulf in quality between the teams isn't that huge is that they changed their game massively to try and contain Dortmund (as well as resting some players) and it massively backfired because it just gave Dortmund more time and space to plan. As always, we should be looking to disrupt their rhythm and force them to play our game.

i said this before also i have never got the let's see the away game off and we will bury them at anfield attitude. that's small club talk really. we should finish them tonite and then take revenge from stoke.

I completely agree, what is the point of going into the game not believing you will win? I'm buzzing and if we get smashed well. atleast I had a bit of excitement ;)

i'm going for cautious optimism. we're so inconsistent so don't know which lfc will turn up.

IF we play to the best of our abilities, we can beat anyone in that competition, if we're anything less than our best - we're in for a tough night.

Where Liverpool football club. We invented European domination. The only team to beat Barcelona on there own soil from England. 5 times European cuo winners. We bow to nobody. We go there tonight to win, end of discussion. Playing it safe, containing them, no way. We go to win and whatever the result doesn't matter as long as we don't have any fear. We don't want to lose playing to lose/ draw. You lose trying to win!

Come on red men. Show them hows it done and give them the beat version of YNwA there's ever been.

We've shown we can dismantle top teams when we play well, I think we go out there and show them what we're made of but we shouldn't be unrealistic and expect to have 60% possession either, we need to be setup to withstand periods of pressure too.

I think klopp is playing our chances down a bit but it's just managers talk, we can score tonight and if we keep it tight at the back that could go a long way to qualifying over the 2 legs.
