Hi eds thought say appreciate the work you do was just wondering if there was anything more on luke garbutt

lfcleee

{Ed002's Note - Nothing involving Liverpool - try the Everton page.}

1.) 01 Jun 2015 13:38:01
Ok thanks

24 Mar 2015 13:16:55
I see an ed said ings will probly go united any idea who we might be going for now

lfcleee

{Ed001's Note - I didn't say that, I said my best guess right now would be them. Though, at the end of the day, it will mostly come down to his choice. The issue with us is that we don't even have it settled who will be making the decisions on transfers this summer yet. So it is difficult to put us in the forefront of any deal.}

Any interest in janmaat

lfcleee

{Ed001's Note - yes but that is nothing to do with us, try the Newcastle site.}

02 Feb 2015 12:05:20
Tony barrett said liverpool are trying to get danny ings still to avoid tribunal at end of season any truth eds

lfcleee

{Ed002's Note - I don't understand why there would be a tribunal in the summer.}

1.) 02 Feb 2015 12:36:53
I have seen Burnley would be due some compensation for Ings in the summer but I thought it was a set amount and didn't need a tribunal. I might be wrong though.

Reading some of the so called supports slagging off some of the players etc. pretty sure most people would be happy with being 3rd 1point of second 4 of 1st and in semi final of the only other cup we have played in is nkt exactly a bad start when most people didn't think we would be challeging for title. Plus we have only lost 2 games this season. We are suppose to be one of the greatest set of fans around let's get behind the team and see where the season takes us.

lfcleee

1.) 05 Dec 2016 13:46:51
Lfcleee, the ship of us being the greatest set of fans sailed a long time ago, I`m afraid. I can understand that people are frustrated as we have no business even conceding a goal in that game as we were that dominant. however, we messed up and that can happen. That should not define the season (that`s not even half way yet) as not even I, thought we would be where we are right now so I`m not going to act like I did.

As for those talking about the title, they really need to pipe down and look at the whole picture. This is Klopp`s first year with the team and judging by yesterday`s result, we are not ready for a title tilt this season as a team going for the title should not be losing a game like we did.

We are in for the top 4which was the target going in and we are right on schedule. People need to stop listening the hype in the media as they are setting us up to fail. Do I want the title? ABSOLUTELY! But I`m saying we need to walk before we run and right now we are walking briskly. The next level is to run and we`ll get there BUT we must learn to stick together, persevere and not look back as history is becoming a burden on us. Go Reds!

2.) 05 Dec 2016 20:34:33
LFC still has the greatest supporters. No question.

3.) 05 Dec 2016 23:04:18
Hamilton,
Can I ask why we shouldn't talk about the title. We had one of the toughest set of fixtures to start with and came through with flying colours. We bet the best and at one stage were deserved top of the league. We are easily good enough to win the title and in my opinion that's what we should be talking about.

I don't care where in he league I thought we'd be at this stage or where anyone else thought we'd be. We showed great grit and determination to get to the top of the league and its poor performances that have seen us drop to third.

We have not been bettered by any other team, we have been guilty of awful individual errors and yesterday in a complete capitulation. That in my opinion is not acceptable from professional footballers at the level we have. We threw away three points yesterday and points against Southampton when we were also the far far better team.

We can win the league and I believe should win the league it may require a new CB in Jan as Klavan isn't good enough, Loren is starting to look poor again, Gomez is not ready and Lucas is not a league winning CB. We need quality not quantity. The team should be told off harshley after that awful capitulation and maybe Klopp needs to look at his tactics if similar situations arise in the future.

But with the rest of the squad we are good enough to win the title and I for one will be screaming and arguing that case with opposition fans until Hendo lifts that cup.

4.) 05 Dec 2016 23:41:15
I am still seething about yesterday but have certainly not given up on the title. I said before the game yesterday that we are the only team that can consistently dominate teams to the point where they can't get into the game and for the best part of 70 minutes we did just that. That team played at the Emirates and had more possession than Arsenal which tells you just how good we are at what we do. What happened after that was unfathomable and largely down to Matip missing and Karius not saving a routine shot for the second goal. If he makes that save (which I truly believe I could've saved) then we win the game. That being said I stand by what I said about us before the game and I really do think we have an outstanding chance of lifting that trophy in may.

5.) 06 Dec 2016 00:55:29
McGoveb, your last two paragraphs just explained my point. You're welcome, by the way.

{Ed001's Note - ah Ronald it is all the better now you have said it!}

2.) 29 Jul 2016 09:51:48
Thats true.

17 Jul 2016 16:51:01
Honestly can't beileve some people are actually getting on karius back already. Shocking.

lfcleee

1.) 17 Jul 2016 17:04:10
dont get on the lads back, but might wake people up from thinking for no reason what so ever that he is Manuel Neuer.

2.) 17 Jul 2016 17:04:14
Now, now, that one little lapse is clearly comparable to three years of Migs flapping at things and having a 15% pass completion rate once he goes beyond 10 yards.

3.) 17 Jul 2016 17:16:19
At least it's not a handling mistake, just a lapse in concentration which he should now learn from and not do when it matters.

4.) 17 Jul 2016 17:29:12
It was shocking. Hope he sorts that out.

5.) 17 Jul 2016 18:04:34
Remember de gea 1st 6 months 😉.

6.) 17 Jul 2016 18:53:39
Stop the random examples and comparisons to the likes of de gea and neuer. Karius made a mistake, he will work on it. He's shown confidence for the most past and we've kept 3 clean sheets even though it's preseason and against lower tier opposition its good signs. I'm still 50/ 50 on karius, I'm almost sure he should be better than mignolet but I won't be suprised if he's as good given that John achterburg is still goalkeeping coach for some reason.

7.) 17 Jul 2016 20:45:27
It's normally consecutive mistakes that cause problems, he made one mistake and made a superb recovery to prevent the goal.

8.) 17 Jul 2016 23:09:56
Exactly, everyone going mad about capturing the new neuer for a bargain price. What we have actually done is sign a bargain price migs 😂😂.

9.) 17 Jul 2016 23:17:27
Exactly, Franky. The knives are already out for him even tho he more than made up for his mistake by preventing a goal from happening. It's not like all the other gk's at the club are better because frankly, they are NOT. If we gave a hapless GK like Mingo three years to prove he was a bad one, we should at least do the same for Karius.

10.) 18 Jul 2016 10:48:14
Why are we so hard on our own players? Neuer is prone to the odd mistake and Bayern have conceded goals due to them, if he played for us I'm sure there are idiots on here who'd be saying he's no good and should be replaced.

Its football, players make mistakes! It was a momentary lapse in concentration in a meaningless friendly and he recovered really well and prevented the goal.

Give the lad a bloody chance!

Would like to say emre can has been brilliant last few weeks. Has really stepped up and deserves some praise.

lfcleee

1.) 18 Mar 2016 09:05:25
Totally agree he's become a right powerhouse in midfield.

2.) 18 Mar 2016 09:29:00
He looks to be really learning a lot under klopp, his tacking and movement seem to have come on loads. As ed says below the spine of the seam looks great now and still so young and only going to get better. Fingers crossed when fully fit flanno can claim the rb spot. I fully believe we can sell benteke replace in squad with ings and use all the mo way to land a top top Kepler, think probably give Moreno or smith one more year to improve and take the lb spot.

3.) 18 Mar 2016 09:35:53
Bring on the Quarter Final Draw.
People have been saying who they don't want us to get, but I guarantee, none of the other teams will want to be drawn against us.

4.) 18 Mar 2016 10:07:32
Is Can starting to remind anyone of Didi?

I do like Lucas and think he is underestimated but it's nice to see Can winning balls without giving away silly free kicks. And it's not that just Can is playing better, I think its not the individual but the partnership of hendo and can. They compliment each other well. Lovern and sakho case in point too.

5.) 18 Mar 2016 10:13:00
Bang on he's really improving, I would also say he is moving ahead of Henderson as it stands.

Not slagging Henderson off and I'm also aware he's playing with an injury, but can is really stepping up to the plate.

6.) 18 Mar 2016 10:37:21
He was absolutely ripped to bits by some on chat last night until Coutinho scored.

Stupid comment about benteke a lot of people would support the player but problem is he showed such a lack of effort or desire to do well.

Was just wondering on ed001 view on mignolet, still don't think he is good enough but see people saying he is improving

lfcleee

{Ed001's Note - he is improving. However he is starting off from a level right at the bottom of professional, so it is not that difficult to improve! We still need better than him, which is hopefully Karius.}
